Welcome back to another mixed media project. Who likes Disney movies??? I love them!!! I am a big fan of the Little Mermaid. So, today&#8217;s project has a little something from under the sea! I had a few pattern paper pieces from the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Vintage Seas collection and I decided to make a collage in my background. I glued the pattern paper pieces on my pages using Multi Medium Matte, I dried the pages and then I used a very stiff brush to apply some white gesso on top of the collage. I was not aiming for perfect coverage, I actually wanted the gesso to look uneven and stricky. Once the white gesso was dry, I covered everything with clear gesso and dried it again. I wanted some extra texture so I used the Linked Circles Layering Stencil by Tim Holtz with Ranger Texture Crackle Paste on some small parts of my project. I left the Paste to dry and then I coloured my page, using Distress Oxide Sprays in colours Vintage Photo, Speckled Egg and Salvaged Patina. I sprayed with the inks, I sprayed with water to make the inks oxidize and spread and then I dries my pages. I wanted some circles on my background, so I used a circle stencil and a white Gelly Roll pen and I sketched some circles. Then, I diluted some white gesso and heavily splattered the project. I was building and underwater scene so I chose some underwater animal images. I used the Sizzix Under the Sea #2 Thinlits Colorize by Tim Holtz and a few colourful papers and I cut my images. I treated the edges of my cut pieces with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink before I put the figures together and after they were assembled, I added some highlights with my white Gelly Roll pen. Some of these animals were going to be on the lower part of my pages, which represents the sea floor. Before I glue these animal down, I added a little bit of fine sand on the bottom of one of my pages. I used Multi Medium Matte to glue the sand and then I attached the animals on top of it. The first part is just printed. I printed the lyrics from Sebastian&#8217;s song from the Little Mermaid, I glued the print paper on cardstock and cut it in stripes. The second part of my sentiment is just a line from the song. I cut this part using the Sizzix Alphanumerics Shadow Upper Thinlits by Tim Holtz and some blue cardstock. I used only the main letters, without the shadow parts, and I treated their lower parts with Picket Fence Distress ink. I arranged my sentiment on my pages and then I used my Gelly Roll pen to add highlights. All together is says &#8222;Under the sea &#8211; Darling it&#8217;s better &#8211; Down where it&#8217;s wetter &#8211; Take it from me &#8211; Up on the shore they work all day &#8211; Out in the sun they slave away &#8211; While we devotin&#8216; &#8211; Full time to floatin&#8216; &#8211; Under the sea&#8220;. I never read this&#8230; I always sing it! I love the songs from the Disney movies! idea-ology &#8211; Droplets \u2013 Christmas<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dieses Mal habe ich in meinem gro\u00dfen Kunstjournal gearbeitet und mit meinem Hintergrund begonnen. Ich hatte ein paar Musterpapierst\u00fccke aus der Simple Stories Simple Vintage Vintage Seas Kollektion und beschloss, eine Collage in meinem Hintergrund zu machen. Ich habe die Musterpapierst\u00fccke mit Multi Medium Matte auf meine Seiten geklebt, die Seiten getrocknet und dann mit einem sehr harten Pinsel etwas wei\u00dfes Gesso auf die Collage aufgetragen. Mir ging es nicht um eine perfekte Abdeckung, ich wollte eigentlich, dass das Gesso uneben und fleckig aussieht. Sobald das wei\u00dfe Gesso trocken war, habe ich alles mit klarem Gesso bedeckt und es erneut getrocknet. Ich wollte etwas mehr Textur, also habe ich f\u00fcr einige kleine Teile meines Projekts die Layering Schablone \u201eLinked Circles\u201c von Tim Holtz mit Ranger Texture Crackle Paste verwendet. Ich habe die Paste trocknen lassen und dann meine Seite mit Distress Oxide Sprays in den Farben Vintage Photo, Speckled Egg und Salvaged Patina koloriert. Ich habe mit den Tinten bespr\u00fcht, ich habe mit Wasser bespr\u00fcht, damit die Tinten oxidieren und sich verteilen, und dann habe ich meine Seiten getrocknet. Ich wollte ein paar Kreise auf meinem Hintergrund, also habe ich eine Kreisschablone und einen wei\u00dfen Gelly Roll Stift verwendet und einige Kreise gezeichnet. Dann habe ich etwas wei\u00dfes Gesso verd\u00fcnnt und das Projekt stark bespritzt. Ich habe Chipped Sapphire und Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Tinten verwendet, um die R\u00e4nder meiner Seiten abzudunkeln, und schon war mein Hintergrund fertig!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zeit, meine Bilder vorzubereiten. Meine Szene war eine Unterwasserszene, also habe ich einige Unterwassertierbilder ausgew\u00e4hlt. Ich habe Sizzix Under the Sea #2 Thinlits Colorize von Tim Holtz und ein paar bunte Papiere verwendet und meine Bilder ausgeschnitten. Ich habe die Kanten meiner ausgeschnittenen Teile mit Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Tinte behandelt, bevor ich die Figuren zusammengesetzt habe, und nachdem sie zusammengebaut waren, habe ich mit meinem wei\u00dfen Gelly Roll Stift einige Highlights hinzugef\u00fcgt. Einige dieser Tiere sollten im unteren Teil meiner Seiten sein, der den Meeresboden darstellt. Bevor ich diese Tiere festklebe, habe ich unten auf einer meiner Seiten etwas feinen Sand aufgetragen. Den Sand habe ich mit Multi Medium Matte aufgeklebt und dann die Tiere darauf befestigt. Welcome back to another mixed media project. Who likes Disney movies??? I love them!!! I am a big fan of the Little Mermaid. So, today&#8217;s project has a little something from under the sea! Let\u2019s start with the materials I used: Materials This time I worked in my big art journal and I started with my background. I had a few pattern paper pieces from the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Vintage Seas collection and I decided to make a collage in my background. I glued the pattern paper pieces on my pages using Multi Medium Matte, I dried the pages and then I used a very stiff brush to apply some white gesso on top of the collage. I was not aiming for perfect coverage, I actually wanted the gesso to look uneven and stricky. Once the white gesso was dry, I covered everything with clear gesso and dried it again. I wanted some extra texture so I used the Linked Circles Layering Stencil by Tim Holtz with Ranger Texture Crackle Paste on some small parts of my project. I left the Paste to dry and then I coloured my page, using Distress Oxide Sprays in colours Vintage Photo, Speckled Egg and Salvaged Patina. I sprayed with the inks, I sprayed with water to make the inks oxidize and spread and then I dries my pages. I wanted some circles on my background, so I used a circle stencil and a white Gelly Roll pen and I sketched some circles. Then, I diluted some white gesso and heavily splattered the project. I used Chipped Sapphire and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide inks to darkened the edges of my pages and my background was done! It was time to prepare my images. I was building and underwater scene so I chose some underwater animal images. I used the Sizzix Under the Sea #2 Thinlits Colorize by Tim Holtz and a few colourful papers and I cut my images. I treated the edges of my cut pieces with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink before I put the figures together and after they were assembled, I added some highlights with my white Gelly Roll pen. Some of these animals were going to be on the lower part of my pages, which represents the sea floor. Before I glue these animal down, I added a little bit of fine sand on the bottom of one of my pages. I used Multi Medium Matte to glue the sand and then I attached the animals on top of it. The rest of the animals are just floating. My sentiment consists of two parts. The first part is just printed. I printed the lyrics from Sebastian&#8217;s song from the Little Mermaid, I glued the print paper on cardstock and cut it in stripes. The second part of my sentiment is just a line from the song. I cut this part using the Sizzix Alphanumerics Shadow Upper Thinlits by Tim Holtz and some blue cardstock. I used only the main letters, without the shadow parts, and I treated their lower parts with Picket Fence Distress ink. I arranged my sentiment on my pages and then I used my Gelly Roll pen to add highlights. All together is says &#8222;Under the sea &#8211; Darling it&#8217;s better &#8211; Down where it&#8217;s wetter &#8211; Take it from me &#8211; Up on the shore they work all day &#8211; Out in the sun they slave away &#8211; While we devotin&#8216; &#8211; Full time to floatin&#8216; &#8211; Under the sea&#8220;. As a last bit of embellishment, I added some white pearls from the Idea-Ology Droplets Christmas set\u00a0 by Tim Holtz and I tried to make them look like bubbles coming from the animals. Ich habe die Musterpapierst\u00fccke mit Multi Medium Matte auf meine Seiten geklebt, die Seiten getrocknet und dann mit einem sehr harten Pinsel etwas wei\u00dfes Gesso auf die Collage aufgetragen. Mir ging es nicht um eine perfekte Abdeckung, ich wollte eigentlich, dass das Gesso uneben und fleckig aussieht. Sobald das wei\u00dfe Gesso trocken war, habe ich alles mit klarem Gesso bedeckt und es erneut getrocknet. Ich wollte etwas mehr Textur, also habe ich f\u00fcr einige kleine Teile meines Projekts die Layering Schablone \u201eLinked Circles\u201c von Tim Holtz mit Ranger Texture Crackle Paste verwendet.
