Welcome back to another mixed media project. I have an easy and relatively quick project to show you today. Of course, the theme is Christmas, since there is less than a month left until that day. I used the Tag as a guide to cut a piece of Mixed Media paper on the size of the Tag and I build my background on that secondary paper Tag. I used pieces from the Idea-Ology Christmas Ephemera Pack and I glued them on my paper Tag, using Multi Medium Matte, making sure that there is some overlap. I used Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and a stiff brush to add some shading all around the pieces and then I took the Tag to my sewing machine and I sewed all around the edges. I was not aiming for perfect sewing lines. In fact, I made a second pass with a different stitch to add some zig zag patterns. Sewing on the Tag was the reason I needed a paper Tag, as I could not add that lovely detail on a thickboard. With my background ready, I used the Multi Medium Matte to attach my paper Tag to the Etcetera Tag. I chose a lady to go in the center of my Tag and some Poinsettias and holly leaves to surround her. I wanted those pieces to be a little bit popped up, so I attached them using foam tape. The first part is a card from the Idea-Ology Christmas Ephemera Pack and the second part is a clipping from the Idea-Ology Christmas Sticker Book. Altogether, it says &#8222;Believe. And hear the Christmas joy bells ring&#8220;. I will admit that I was thinking of the &#8222;Polar Express&#8220; movie when I chose these words. So, after all of my pieces were on the Tag, I added a few Idea-Ology Christmas Droplets as embellishments. I never gave a Tag as a gift, but I made so many this year that I am actually considering it. Some of them are pretty nice as decorations. What is your opinion about it? Ich habe den Tag als Schablone verwendet, um ein St\u00fcck Mixed Media Papier auf die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Tags auszuschneiden und meinen Hintergrund auf diesem sekund\u00e4ren Papier Tag aufzubauen. Ich habe St\u00fccke aus dem Christmas Ephemera Paket von Idea-Ology verwendet und sie mit Multi Medium Matte auf meinen Papier Tag geklebt, wobei zu beachten war, dass es etwas \u00dcberlappung gab. Ich habe Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Tinte und einen steifen Pinsel verwendet, um rund um die Teile etwas Schattierung hinzuzuf\u00fcgen, und dann habe ich den Tag zu meiner N\u00e4hmaschine genommen und die Kanten rundherum gen\u00e4ht. Mein Ziel waren keine perfekten N\u00e4hlinien. Tats\u00e4chlich habe ich einen zweiten Durchgang mit einem anderen Stich gemacht, um einige Zick-Zack-Muster hinzuzuf\u00fcgen. Das Ann\u00e4hen des Tags war der Grund, warum ich ein Papier Tag brauchte, da ich dieses sch\u00f6ne Detail nicht auf einer dicken Platte anbringen konnte. Nachdem mein Hintergrund fertig war, habe ich mit dem Multi Medium Matte mein Papier Tag am Etcetera -Tag befestigt. Ich habe eine Dame f\u00fcr der Mitte meines Tags ausgew\u00e4hlt und sie mit einigen Weihnachtssternen und Stechpalmenbl\u00e4ttern umgeben. Ich wollte, dass diese Teile etwas hervorstehen, also habe ich sie mit Schaumstoffband befestigt. Ich habe mit der Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Tinte und einem steifen Pinsel einige Schatten um meine St\u00fccke herum hinzugef\u00fcgt und dann mit einem wei\u00dfen Gelstift einige Glanzlichter hinzugef\u00fcgt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mein Spruch besteht aus zwei Teilen. Der erste Teil ist eine Karte aus dem Idea-Ology Christmas Ephemera Pack und der zweite Teil ist ein Ausschnitt aus dem Idea-Ology Christmas Sticker Book. Alles in allem hei\u00dft es: \u201eGlaube. Und h\u00f6re die Glocken der Weihnachtsfreude l\u00e4uten.\u201c Ich gebe zu, dass ich bei dieser Wortwahl an den Film \u201ePolar Express\u201c gedacht habe. Nachdem alle meine St\u00fccke auf dem Tag waren, habe ich ein paar Idea-Ology Christmas Droplets als Verzierungen hinzugef\u00fcgt. Welcome back to another mixed media project. I have an easy and relatively quick project to show you today. Of course, the theme is Christmas, since there is less than a month left until that day. Let\u2019s start with the materials I used: Materials\u00a0(If something is not in stock, please simply click on \u201cProduct reminder\u201d\/ \u201cProdukterinnerung\u201d) For this project, I used an Etcetera Tag as a base, but I didn&#8217;t work directly on it. I used the Tag as a guide to cut a piece of Mixed Media paper on the size of the Tag and I build my background on that secondary paper Tag. I used pieces from the Idea-Ology Christmas Ephemera Pack and I glued them on my paper Tag, using Multi Medium Matte, making sure that there is some overlap. I used Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and a stiff brush to add some shading all around the pieces and then I took the Tag to my sewing machine and I sewed all around the edges. I was not aiming for perfect sewing lines. In fact, I made a second pass with a different stitch to add some zig zag patterns. Sewing on the Tag was the reason I needed a paper Tag, as I could not add that lovely detail on a thickboard. With my background ready, I used the Multi Medium Matte to attach my paper Tag to the Etcetera Tag. I used a wood file to blend the edges of the paper into the thickboard and then I used the Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink to add some shading to them. My images for this project come from the Idea-Ology Christmas Botanicals Layers and from the Idea-Ology Solos Paper Dolls. I chose a lady to go in the center of my Tag and some Poinsettias and holly leaves to surround her. I wanted those pieces to be a little bit popped up, so I attached them using foam tape. I added some shadows around my pieces, using the Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and a stiff brush, and then I added some highlights, using a white gel pen. My sentiment consists of two parts. The first part is a card from the Idea-Ology Christmas Ephemera Pack and the second part is a clipping from the Idea-Ology Christmas Sticker Book. Altogether, it says &#8222;Believe. And hear the Christmas joy bells ring&#8220;. I will admit that I was thinking of the &#8222;Polar Express&#8220; movie when I chose these words. So, after all of my pieces were on the Tag, I added a few Idea-Ology Christmas Droplets as embellishments. I used the white Droplets all around the Tag and the red Droplets on some berries as a 3D effect. And that was the project for today!
