Happy New Year! I hope 2024 will bring us less headaches than 2023 did! I have a relatively quick and easy project to show you today. These Tags are made out of Thickboard and they are sturdy and strong. I wanted to add a sewing detail on my project, so I could not work directly on the Thickboard. I used the Etcetera Tag as a guide to cut a Tag out of paper and I worked on that. So, first I embossed my paper Tag, using the Sizzix Holiday Knit Texture Fades folder, and then I brought the folder&#8217;s detail out a little bit more by adding some colour. I simply rubbed the Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink pad directly on the embossed paper. After I had all the texture, I took the paper Tag to my sewing machine and added a seam all around the edges. At this point, I used some Multi Medium Matte to attach the paper Tag on the Etcetera Tag. Once the glue was dry, I used a sanding block to make the edges of the two Tags look like one. I wanted some snowflakes on the background, so I used the Couture Creations Fractal Flake mini die to cut some snowflakes, I cut the snowflakes in half and attached them on the edges of the Tag. I used blue cardstock and some blue glitter paper for my flowers. I have to say here that this set is no longer available in the shop and, unfortunately, I did not notice that on time. Another set that would look gorgeous used in the same way could be the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/winter-weihnachten\/sizzix-tim-holtz-thinlits-holiday-brushstoke-3.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/winter-weihnachten\/sizzix-tim-holtz-thinlits-holiday-brushstoke-3.html\">Sizzix Tim Holtz Thinlits &#8211; Holiday Brushstoke #3<\/a>, which is also on sale in the shop! I cut the letters out of white cardstock and I attached them on the same blue glitter paper I used for my flowers. I just wanted the letters to stand out while still blending in with the rest of the elements on the Tag. My sentiment says &#8222;Happy New Year&#8220;, just the perfect wish for the first day of the Year! To add some more shine, I added some little Idea-Ology Mirrored Stars all over the Tag. I added the ribbon along with some lace and the Tag was ready. Diese Tags bestehen aus Thickboard und sind robust und stabil. Ich wollte meinem Projekt ein gen\u00e4htes Detail hinzuf\u00fcgen, daher konnte ich nicht direkt am Thickboard arbeiten. Ich habe das Etcetera Tag als Vorlage zum Ausschneiden eines Tags aus Papier verwendet und daran gearbeitet. Also habe ich zuerst mein Papier Tag mit dem Sizzix Holiday Knit Texture Fades-Pr\u00e4geordner gepr\u00e4gt und dann die Details der Pr\u00e4gung durch das Hinzuf\u00fcgen von etwas Farbe etwas mehr hervorgehoben. Ich habe einfach das Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Stempelkissen direkt auf das gepr\u00e4gte Papier gerieben. Nachdem ich die gesamte Struktur fertig hatte, habe ich den Papier Tag zu meiner N\u00e4hmaschine gebracht und an den R\u00e4ndern eine Naht hinzugef\u00fcgt. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt habe ich etwas Multi Medium Matte verwendet, um das Papier Tag auf dem Etcetera Tag zu befestigen. Sobald der Kleber getrocknet war, habe ich einen Schleifblock verwendet, um die Kanten der beiden Tags wie eins aussehen zu lassen. Ich wollte ein paar Schneeflocken auf dem Hintergrund, also habe ich die Mini Stanzform Fractal Flake von Couture Creations verwendet, um ein paar Schneeflocken auszuschneiden. I hope 2024 will bring us less headaches than 2023 did! I have a relatively quick and easy project to show you today. Let\u2019s start with the materials I used: Materials\u00a0(If something is not in stock, please simply click on \u201cProduct reminder\u201d\/ \u201cProdukterinnerung\u201d) This project is built on an Etcetera Tag. These Tags are made out of Thickboard and they are sturdy and strong. I wanted to add a sewing detail on my project, so I could not work directly on the Thickboard. I used the Etcetera Tag as a guide to cut a Tag out of paper and I worked on that. So, first I embossed my paper Tag, using the Sizzix Holiday Knit Texture Fades folder, and then I brought the folder&#8217;s detail out a little bit more by adding some colour. I simply rubbed the Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink pad directly on the embossed paper. After I had all the texture, I took the paper Tag to my sewing machine and added a seam all around the edges. At this point, I used some Multi Medium Matte to attach the paper Tag on the Etcetera Tag. Once the glue was dry, I used a sanding block to make the edges of the two Tags look like one. I wanted some snowflakes on the background, so I used the Couture Creations Fractal Flake mini die to cut some snowflakes, I cut the snowflakes in half and attached them on the edges of the Tag. I added some shading around the edges, using Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide ink, and my background was done. For my images I used the Sizzix Seasonal Sketch Thinlits set, to cut some nice little Poinsettia flowers. I used blue cardstock and some blue glitter paper for my flowers. I have to say here that this set is no longer available in the shop and, unfortunately, I did not notice that on time. Another set that would look gorgeous used in the same way could be the Sizzix Tim Holtz Thinlits &#8211; Holiday Brushstoke #3, which is also on sale in the shop! Anyway, I placed my flowers on the lower part of the Tag and then I added some White Opal Liquid Pearls on the centers of the flowers and on the tips of the snowflakes on the background. My sentiment is cut with the letter dies from the Sizzix Santa Greetings Colorize Thinlits set. I cut the letters out of white cardstock and I attached them on the same blue glitter paper I used for my flowers. I just wanted the letters to stand out while still blending in with the rest of the elements on the Tag. My sentiment says &#8222;Happy New Year&#8220;, just the perfect wish for the first day of the Year! To add some more shine, I added some little Idea-Ology Mirrored Stars all over the Tag. I added the ribbon along with some lace and the Tag was ready. I forgot to use the reinforcer on the hole, but I do not think it is needed. And that was the project for today!
