Welcome back to another mixed media project. Today I would like to show you the first Artist Trading Cards I ever made! This is so exciting for me! This project is based on the Stamperia Mechanical Sea World paper. I do not recommend this. It is always better to start with mixed media paper when we want to do mixed media. But I was feeling adventurous (LOL!!!). The paper I used is probably just white cardstock. I cut four cards out of it in size 2,5 x 3,5 inches. The first thing I did was to stamp the Artist Trading Card stamp with Onyx Black VersaFine ink on the back of the cards. Next, I used the Idea-Ology Typography\/Typographie collage paper and Multi Medium Matte in order to add some pattern on my background. I dried the glue and then I gave my cards a good coating of clear Gesso. Once the Gesso was dry, I added some texture, using the Stamperia Compass stencil with Ranger Texture Crackle Paste. My stencil is no longer available in the shop but there are several Stamperia stencils, or other stencils, that could be used. A stencil with words could be just perfect for a project like this one! So, I left the Crackle Paste to air dry. I do not recommend heating your Crackle Paste because it tends to blister and it does not create the expected effect. Once the Paste was ready, I added some colour on my cards and for that I used Walnut Stain and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Paints. I know that most of the original collage is covered, but it still shows through at some parts of the cards and it makes a difference. I took a look through the Stamperia Mechanical Sea World paper pad and I found some nice small images to use on my cards. I chose a mechanical starfish and a compass. These images are cut in half and used separately. I also cut out some stripes of paper and some cogs. I glued everything on my cards and then I used Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and a stiff brush to paint some shadows around and on my images. I still wanted something dimensional, so I used some SnipArt Chipboards pieces. This particular SnipArt Chipboards set is called Cogs Borders and is no longer available, but there are other sets with Cogs that could be used instead. They say the followings: &#8222;Life was meant for a great adventure&#8220;, &#8222;Live, create, tell the story&#8220;, &#8222;Believe in yourself. Embrace the journey&#8220;, &#8222;Live your dream with passion&#8220;. I chose sentiments about adventure and passion and self believe because I think they go well together and because those are ideas we all need to embrace. I know I am struggling to find the freedom that is implied in these words and I also know there are many people like me. So, let&#8217;s be a little bit more adventurous and believe in ourselves a little more! White Opal<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr dieses Projekt habe ich Papier aus meiner Restpapiertonne verwendet. Ich empfehle das nicht. Es ist immer besser, mit Papier f\u00fcr Mixed Media zu beginnen, wenn wir Mixed Media erstellen m\u00f6chten. Aber ich f\u00fchlte mich abenteuerlustig (LOL!!!). Das Papier, das ich verwendet habe, ist wahrscheinlich nur wei\u00dfer Karton. Ich habe daraus vier Karten im Format 2,5 x 3,5 Zoll ausgeschnitten. Als erstes habe ich den Artist Trading Card Stempel mit Onyx Black VersaFine Tinte auf die R\u00fcckseite der Karten gestempelt. Als n\u00e4chstes habe ich das Collagenpapier Idea-Ology Typography\/Typographie und Multi Medium Matte verwendet, um meinem Hintergrund ein Muster hinzuzuf\u00fcgen. Ich habe den Kleber getrocknet und dann meine Karten mit einer guten Schicht klarem Gesso versehen. Sobald das Gesso trocken war, habe ich mit der Stamperia Compass Schablone und der Ranger Texture Crackle Paste etwas Textur hinzugef\u00fcgt. Meine Schablone ist nicht mehr im Shop erh\u00e4ltlich, aber es gibt mehrere Stamperia Schablonen oder andere Schablonen, die verwendet werden k\u00f6nnten. Eine Schablone mit Worten k\u00f6nnte f\u00fcr ein Projekt wie dieses einfach perfekt sein! Also habe ich die Crackle Paste an der Luft trocknen lassen. Ich empfehle, eure Crackle Paste nicht zu erhitzen, da sie zur Blasenbildung neigt und nicht den erwarteten Effekt erzielt. Sobald die Paste fertig war, habe ich etwas Farbe auf meine Karten aufgetragen und daf\u00fcr Walnut Stain und Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Paints verwendet. Ich wei\u00df, dass der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Teil der Originalcollage verdeckt ist, aber an einigen Stellen der Karten ist es immer noch durchscheinend, und das macht einen Unterschied. Ich habe einen Blick auf den Papierblock von Stamperia Mechanical Sea World geworfen und einige sch\u00f6ne kleine Bilder gefunden, die ich auf meinen Karten verwenden k\u00f6nnte. Ich habe mich f\u00fcr einen mechanischen Seestern und einen Kompass entschieden. Diese Bilder werden halbiert und separat verwendet. Ich habe auch einige Papierstreifen und einige Zahnr\u00e4der ausgeschnitten. Ich habe alles auf meine Karten geklebt und dann mit Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Tinte und einem steifen Pinsel einige Schatten um und auf meine Bilder gemalt. Ich wollte noch etwas dreidimensionales, also habe ich einige SnipArt Chipboards Teile verwendet. Dieses spezielle SnipArt Chipboards Set hei\u00dft Cogs Borders und ist nicht mehr verf\u00fcgbar, aber es gibt andere Sets mit Cogs, die stattdessen verwendet werden k\u00f6nnten. Ich habe, wie bei meinen anderen Bildern, einige Schatten um die Chipboards herum hinzugef\u00fcgt und dann die Black Soot Distress Oxide Tinte verwendet, um die R\u00e4nder meiner Karten abzudunkeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meine Spr\u00fcche stammen aus dem Idea-Ology Small Talk Sticker Buch. Sie sagen Folgendes: \u201eDas Leben ist f\u00fcr ein gro\u00dfes Abenteuer gedacht\u201c, \u201eLebe, erschaffe, erz\u00e4hle die Geschichte\u201c, \u201eGlaube an dich. Welcome back to another mixed media project. Today I would like to show you the first Artist Trading Cards I ever made! This is so exciting for me! This project is based on the Stamperia Mechanical Sea World paper. I do not recommend this. It is always better to start with mixed media paper when we want to do mixed media. But I was feeling adventurous (LOL!!!). The paper I used is probably just white cardstock. I cut four cards out of it in size 2,5 x 3,5 inches. The first thing I did was to stamp the Artist Trading Card stamp with Onyx Black VersaFine ink on the back of the cards. Next, I used the Idea-Ology Typography\/Typographie collage paper and Multi Medium Matte in order to add some pattern on my background. I dried the glue and then I gave my cards a good coating of clear Gesso. Once the Gesso was dry, I added some texture, using the Stamperia Compass stencil with Ranger Texture Crackle Paste. My stencil is no longer available in the shop but there are several Stamperia stencils, or other stencils, that could be used. A stencil with words could be just perfect for a project like this one! So, I left the Crackle Paste to air dry. I do not recommend heating your Crackle Paste because it tends to blister and it does not create the expected effect. Once the Paste was ready, I added some colour on my cards and for that I used Walnut Stain and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Paints. I know that most of the original collage is covered, but it still shows through at some parts of the cards and it makes a difference. I dried the Paints and my backgrounds were done. Time to prepare my images for this project. I took a look through the Stamperia Mechanical Sea World paper pad and I found some nice small images to use on my cards. I chose a mechanical starfish and a compass. These images are cut in half and used separately. I also cut out some stripes of paper and some cogs. I glued everything on my cards and then I used Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and a stiff brush to paint some shadows around and on my images. I still wanted something dimensional, so I used some SnipArt Chipboards pieces. This particular SnipArt Chipboards set is called Cogs Borders and is no longer available, but there are other sets with Cogs that could be used instead. I added some shadows around the Chipboards just like I did with my other images and then I used the Black Soot Distress Oxide ink to darken the edges of my cards. My sentiments come from the Idea-Ology Small Talk Sticker book. I chose sentiments about adventure and passion and self believe because I think they go well together and because those are ideas we all need to embrace. I know I am struggling to find the freedom that is implied in these words and I also know there are many people like me. So, let&#8217;s be a little bit more adventurous and believe in ourselves a little more! As a last little bit of embellishment, I added some dots of White Opal Liquid Pearls all over the cards. And that was the project for today! My very first time making Artist Trading Cards went quite well and I have also learned something in the process! I will definitely try this again. Willkommen zur\u00fcck zu einem weiteren Mixed-Media-Projekt. Heute m\u00f6chte ich euch die ersten Artist Trading Cards zeigen, die ich je gemacht habe! Das ist so aufregend f\u00fcr mich! Dieses Projekt basiert auf dem Stamperia Mechanical Sea World Papier. Beginnen wir mit den Materialien, die ich verwendet habe: Materialien\u00a0(wenn etwas nicht auf Lager ist, bitte einfach auf \u201eProdukterinnerung\u201c klicken) F\u00fcr dieses Projekt habe ich Papier aus meiner Restpapiertonne verwendet. Ich empfehle das nicht. Es ist immer besser, mit Papier f\u00fcr Mixed Media zu beginnen, wenn wir Mixed Media erstellen m\u00f6chten. Aber ich f\u00fchlte mich abenteuerlustig (LOL!!!). Das Papier, das ich verwendet habe, ist wahrscheinlich nur wei\u00dfer Karton. Ich habe daraus vier Karten im Format 2,5 x 3,5 Zoll ausgeschnitten. Als erstes habe ich den Artist Trading Card Stempel mit Onyx Black VersaFine Tinte auf die R\u00fcckseite der Karten gestempelt. Als n\u00e4chstes habe ich das Collagenpapier Idea-Ology Typography\/Typographie und Multi Medium Matte verwendet, um meinem Hintergrund ein Muster hinzuzuf\u00fcgen. Ich habe den Kleber getrocknet und dann meine Karten mit einer guten Schicht klarem Gesso versehen. Sobald das Gesso trocken war, habe ich mit der Stamperia Compass Schablone und der Ranger Texture Crackle Paste etwas Textur hinzugef\u00fcgt. Meine Schablone ist nicht mehr im Shop erh\u00e4ltlich, aber es gibt mehrere Stamperia Schablonen oder andere Schablonen, die verwendet werden k\u00f6nnten. Eine Schablone mit Worten k\u00f6nnte f\u00fcr ein Projekt wie dieses einfach perfekt sein! Also habe ich die Crackle Paste an der Luft trocknen lassen. Ich empfehle, eure Crackle Paste nicht zu erhitzen, da sie zur Blasenbildung neigt und nicht den erwarteten Effekt erzielt. Sobald die Paste fertig war, habe ich etwas Farbe auf meine Karten aufgetragen und daf\u00fcr Walnut Stain und Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Paints verwendet. Ich wei\u00df, dass der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Teil der Originalcollage verdeckt ist, aber an einigen Stellen der Karten ist es immer noch durchscheinend, und das macht einen Unterschied. Ich habe, wie bei meinen anderen Bildern, einige Schatten um die Chipboards herum hinzugef\u00fcgt und dann die Black Soot Distress Oxide Tinte verwendet, um die R\u00e4nder meiner Karten abzudunkeln.
