Welcome back to another mixed media project. Today&#8217;s project is a little different than what I usually do. I decided to play with some Stamperia products, to create a funny little page. I used Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink with a sort of ink smooshing technique, to add colour to my page. Usually, I would add ink on my non-stick mat, thin it with water and then just press my paper in the ink. This time I used an acetate sheet to pick up the thinned ink and transfer it on my page. I repeated this process, always drying in between the layers, until I liked the results. Then, I dripped a little bit of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Spray on my mat, I picked the up with the bottom part of a mug and transferred it on my page, practically using the mug as a stamp. Once everything was dry, I used the text stamp from the Tim Holtz Dearly Departed stamp set and the Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide ink to add some text details on my page. I cut a big piece from the Backgrounds Selection pad, to use as a backdrop, and some smaller ephemeras from the main paper pad of this collection. I treated the edges of my pieces with Ground Espresso and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks and then placed them on my page. I highlighted some of the colours of my pieces, using the Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens. I really like these pens, but the same thing could be done with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/advanced_search_result.php?view_mode=default&amp;categories_id=0&amp;keywords=Distress+Crayons&amp;inc_subcat=1&amp;listing_sort=&amp;listing_count=96\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/advanced_search_result.php?view_mode=default&amp;categories_id=0&amp;keywords=Distress+Crayons&amp;inc_subcat=1&amp;listing_sort=&amp;listing_count=96\">Distress Crayons<\/a> or even with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/advanced_search_result.php?categories_id=0&amp;keywords=distress+watercolor+pencil&amp;inc_subcat=1\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/advanced_search_result.php?categories_id=0&amp;keywords=distress+watercolor+pencil&amp;inc_subcat=1\">Distress Watercolour Pencils<\/a>. I have a piece on my page that says &#8222;Chocolaterie&#8220; on it and it looks like a sentiment, but it is not. It was intended just as an image. I chose a white sentiment strip and treated it with brown ink (whatever ink was left on my blending brush). The sentiment says: &#8222;I could give up chocolate, but I&#8217;m not a quitter&#8220;! Why would anyone want to give up chocolate, I wonder???(LOL) I used a white Gelly Roll pen to add some highlights on the images and then I thought I would like some white splatter on this project. Sobald alles trocken war, habe ich den Textstempel aus dem Stempelset \u201eDearly Departed\u201c von Tim Holtz und die Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide Tinte verwendet, um einige Textdetails auf meiner Seite hinzuzuf\u00fcgen. Ich habe ein gro\u00dfes St\u00fcck aus dem Backgrounds Selection Block ausgeschnitten, um es als Hintergrund zu verwenden, und einige kleinere Ephemeras aus dem Hauptpapierblock dieser Sammlung. Ich habe die Kanten meiner St\u00fccke mit Ground Espresso und Black Soot Distress Oxide Tinten behandelt und sie dann auf meiner Seite platziert. Ich habe ein St\u00fcck auf meiner Seite, auf dem \u201eChocolaterie\u201c steht, und es sieht aus wie ein Spruch, aber es war nur als Bild gedacht. Um meine Bilder etwas besser hervorzuheben und sie vom Hintergrund abzuheben, habe ich Black Soot Distress Oxide Tinte verwendet und einige Schatten um sie herum hinzugef\u00fcgt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mein Spruch stammt aus dem Idea-Ology Small Talk Snarky Sticker Book (der Name in der Materialliste entspricht der Bezeichnung dieses Stickerbuchs im Shop). Welcome back to another mixed media project. Today&#8217;s project is a little different than what I usually do. I decided to play with some Stamperia products, to create a funny little page. Let\u2019s start with the materials I used: Materials\u00a0(If something is not in stock, please simply click on \u201cProduct reminder\u201d\/ \u201cProdukterinnerung\u201d) For this project, I worked in my Stamperia A6 Mixed Media Journal and I started with my background, as is tradition. I used Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink with a sort of ink smooshing technique, to add colour to my page. Usually, I would add ink on my non-stick mat, thin it with water and then just press my paper in the ink. This time I used an acetate sheet to pick up the thinned ink and transfer it on my page. I repeated this process, always drying in between the layers, until I liked the results. Then, I dripped a little bit of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Spray on my mat, I picked the up with the bottom part of a mug and transferred it on my page, practically using the mug as a stamp. Once everything was dry, I used the text stamp from the Tim Holtz Dearly Departed stamp set and the Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide ink to add some text details on my page. And with that, my background was ready. Time to prepare my images and for that, I used images from the Stamperia Coffee and Chocolate paper pads. I cut a big piece from the Backgrounds Selection pad, to use as a backdrop, and some smaller ephemeras from the main paper pad of this collection. I treated the edges of my pieces with Ground Espresso and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks and then placed them on my page. I highlighted some of the colours of my pieces, using the Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens. I really like these pens, but the same thing could be done with Distress Crayons or even with Distress Watercolour Pencils. I have a piece on my page that says &#8222;Chocolaterie&#8220; on it and it looks like a sentiment, but it is not. It was intended just as an image. To make my images stand out a little better and separate them from the background, I used Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and added some shadows around them. My sentiment comes from the Idea-Ology Small Talk Snarky Sticker Book (the name in the materials list is how this sticker book is listed in the shop). I chose a white sentiment strip and treated it with brown ink (whatever ink was left on my blending brush). The sentiment says: &#8222;I could give up chocolate, but I&#8217;m not a quitter&#8220;! Why would anyone want to give up chocolate, I wonder???(LOL) I used a white Gelly Roll pen to add some highlights on the images and then I thought I would like some white splatter on this project. So, I covered the sentiment with a strip of paper (to protect it) and then I splattered the page with white ink. And that was the project for today! I hope you all like chocolate! I love it!
