Welcome back to another mixed media project.\u00a0 For today, I prepared a night scene. I skipped a page, because I was planning on using that page as a foreground later on. My background is pretty simple. I used Salvaged Patina, Dusty Concord and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks for the ink blending and then I heavily splattered everything with white ink. I used the Sizzix Forest Shadows Thinlits set and I cut a lot of trees out of watercolour paper. To colour my trees I used a combination of Black Soot Distress Oxide ink from the ink pad along with Rustic Wilderness and Scorched Timber Distress Sprays Stains. I applied the colours on my non stick mat, sprayed with a little bit of water, I smooshed the trees in the colour and then I dried them. I repeated this process until I liked the results. It is important to dry the ink before adding more on top. If I add wet ink on wet ink, the colours will blend but if I add wet ink on dry ink, the colours will layer and create beautiful patterns! My trees are not all coloured the same. Some are more green, some are more brown or grey and I like that very much. Once my trees were ready, I worked on my foreground. Remember that page I skipped in the beginning? I cut the inside part of that page in order to create a frame for my scene. I used a scoring tool to add some randome lines and then I used Distress Oxide inks to colour it. I was trying to make it look a little bit like wood so my colours were all browns (Brushed Corduroy, Ground Espresso and Scorched Timber). In the end I added a little bit of Black Soot, mostly around the edges. I used the Sizzix Alphanumeric Shadow Upper Thinlits set to cut the word &#8218;Dream&#8216;. I cut it out of black fun foam and a piece of cardstock coloured with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide ink. The rest of the sentiment comes from the Idea-Ology Small Talk Sticker Book. All together, the sentiment says &#8222;Make a Wish. Dream. There is nothing like a dream to create the future&#8220; and I really love it!!! I used a white Gelly Roll pen to add highlights to the trees and my words and then I realised that I had forgotten my stars. How can one make a wish without stars to wish upon? I used the star die from the Sizzix Forest Shadows Thinlits set and I cut my stars out of white cardstock. I ended up with really inky fingers while creating this scene, but I really enjoyed it! Projects are always more fun when they are messy, don&#8217;t you think? Ich habe das Sizzix Forest Shadows Thinlits Set verwendet und viele B\u00e4ume aus Aquarellpapier ausgeschnitten. Zum Ausmalen meiner B\u00e4ume habe ich eine Kombination aus Black Soot Distress Oxide Tinte vom Stempelkissen sowie Rustic Wilderness und Scorched Timber Distress Sprays Stains verwendet. Ich habe die Farben auf meine Antihaft Matte aufgetragen, mit ein wenig Wasser bespr\u00fcht, die B\u00e4ume in der Farbe eingedr\u00fcckt und sie dann getrocknet. Diesen Vorgang habe ich wiederholt, bis mir das Ergebnis gefallen hat. Es ist wichtig, die Tinte trocknen zu lassen, bevor man mehr Tinte darauf gibt. Wenn ich nasse Tinte auf nasse Tinte gebe, vermischen sich die Farben, aber wenn ich nasse Tinte auf trockene Tinte gebe, \u00fcberlagern sich die Farben und erzeugen wundersch\u00f6ne Muster! Meine B\u00e4ume sind nicht alle gleich ausgemalt. Manche sind eher gr\u00fcn, manche eher braun oder grau. Diese Vielfalt gef\u00e4llt mir sehr gut. Nachdem meine B\u00e4ume fertig waren, habe ich an meinem Vordergrund gearbeitet. Erinnert ihr euch an die Seite, die ich am Anfang \u00fcbersprungen habe? Ich habe den inneren Teil dieser Seite ausgeschnitten, um einen Rahmen f\u00fcr meine Szene zu erstellen. Ich habe ein Falzwerkzeug verwendet, um zuf\u00e4llig Linien hinzuzuf\u00fcgen, und dann habe ich Distress Oxide Tinten verwendet, um es einzuf\u00e4rben. Ich wollte, dass es ein bisschen wie Holz aussieht, also waren meine Farben alle Braunt\u00f6ne (Brushed Corduroy, Ground Espresso und Scorched Timber). Zum Schluss habe ich ein bisschen Black Soot hinzugef\u00fcgt, haupts\u00e4chlich an den R\u00e4ndern. Ich habe die B\u00e4ume auf meiner Seite befestigt und dann die Rahmenseite vorsichtig dar\u00fcber gelegt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mein Spruch ist eine Kombination aus Stanzungen und Spruchaufklebern. Ich habe das Sizzix Alphanumeric Shadow Upper Thinlits Set verwendet, um das Wort \u201eDream\u201c auszuschneiden. Ich habe es aus schwarzem Fun Foam und einem St\u00fcck Karton ausgeschnitten, das mit Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Tinte eingef\u00e4rbt war. Der Rest des Spruchs stammt aus dem Idea-Ology Small Talk Sticker Book. Insgesamt lautet der Spruch \u201eW\u00fcnsch dir was. Tr\u00e4ume. Es gibt nichts Besseres als einen Traum, um die Zukunft zu gestalten\u201c und ich liebe ihn wirklich!!! Ich habe einen wei\u00dfen Gelly Roll Stift verwendet, um die B\u00e4ume und meine Worte hervorzuheben, und dann ist mir aufgefallen, dass ich meine Sterne vergessen hatte. Wie kann man sich etwas w\u00fcnschen, ohne Sterne zum W\u00fcnschen zu haben? Ich habe die Sternstanze aus dem Sizzix Forest Shadows Thinlits Set verwendet und meine Sterne aus wei\u00dfem Karton ausgeschnitten. Ich hatte beim Erstellen dieser Szene wirklich tintenverschmierte Finger, aber es hat mir wirklich Spa\u00df gemacht! Projekte machen immer mehr Spa\u00df, wenn sie chaotisch sind, findet ihr nicht? Welcome back to another mixed media project.\u00a0 For today, I prepared a night scene. Because who doesn&#8217;t like dreams?\u00a0 Let\u2019s start with the materials I used: Materials\u00a0(If something is not in stock, please simply click on \u201cProduct reminder\u201d\/ \u201cProdukterinnerung\u201d) For today&#8217;s project, I worked in one of my larger journals and I started with my background. I skipped a page, because I was planning on using that page as a foreground later on. My background is pretty simple. I used Salvaged Patina, Dusty Concord and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks for the ink blending and then I heavily splattered everything with white ink. I could have used Distress Paint for the splatter and it would have looked pretty much the same, but I had the ink standing on my desk, calling for me&#8230; I dried the page and left it aside. Time to prepare my images. I used the Sizzix Forest Shadows Thinlits set and I cut a lot of trees out of watercolour paper. To colour my trees I used a combination of Black Soot Distress Oxide ink from the ink pad along with Rustic Wilderness and Scorched Timber Distress Sprays Stains. I applied the colours on my non stick mat, sprayed with a little bit of water, I smooshed the trees in the colour and then I dried them. I repeated this process until I liked the results. It is important to dry the ink before adding more on top. If I add wet ink on wet ink, the colours will blend but if I add wet ink on dry ink, the colours will layer and create beautiful patterns! My trees are not all coloured the same. Some are more green, some are more brown or grey and I like that very much. Once my trees were ready, I worked on my foreground. Remember that page I skipped in the beginning? I cut the inside part of that page in order to create a frame for my scene. I used a scoring tool to add some randome lines and then I used Distress Oxide inks to colour it. I was trying to make it look a little bit like wood so my colours were all browns (Brushed Corduroy, Ground Espresso and Scorched Timber). In the end I added a little bit of Black Soot, mostly around the edges. I attached the trees on my page and then I carefully placed the frame-page over them. My sentiment is a combination of die cuts and sentiment stickers. I used the Sizzix Alphanumeric Shadow Upper Thinlits set to cut the word &#8218;Dream&#8216;. I cut it out of black fun foam and a piece of cardstock coloured with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide ink. The rest of the sentiment comes from the Idea-Ology Small Talk Sticker Book. All together, the sentiment says &#8222;Make a Wish. Dream. There is nothing like a dream to create the future&#8220; and I really love it!!! I used a white Gelly Roll pen to add highlights to the trees and my words and then I realised that I had forgotten my stars. How can one make a wish without stars to wish upon? I used the star die from the Sizzix Forest Shadows Thinlits set and I cut my stars out of white cardstock. I attached them on the sky part of my project, added some white lines behind one of them (we do need a falling star!!!) and then I covered them with Glossy Accents! And that was the project for today! I ended up with really inky fingers while creating this scene, but I really enjoyed it! Projects are always more fun when they are messy, don&#8217;t you think? Beginnen wir mit den Materialien, die ich verwendet habe: Materialien\u00a0(wenn etwas nicht auf Lager ist, bitte einfach auf \u201eProdukterinnerung\u201c klicken) F\u00fcr das heutige Projekt habe ich in einem meiner gr\u00f6\u00dferen Journale gearbeitet und mit meinem Hintergrund begonnen. Ich habe eine Seite ausgelassen, weil ich vorhatte, diese Seite sp\u00e4ter als Vordergrund zu verwenden. Mein Hintergrund ist ziemlich einfach. Ich habe Salvaged Patina, Dusty Concord und Black Soot Distress Oxide Tinten zum Mischen der Farben verwendet und dann alles gr\u00fcndlich mit wei\u00dfer Tinte bespritzt. Zeit, meine Bilder vorzubereiten. Ich habe das Sizzix Forest Shadows Thinlits Set verwendet und viele B\u00e4ume aus Aquarellpapier ausgeschnitten. Zum Ausmalen meiner B\u00e4ume habe ich eine Kombination aus Black Soot Distress Oxide Tinte vom Stempelkissen sowie Rustic Wilderness und Scorched Timber Distress Sprays Stains verwendet. Ich habe die Farben auf meine Antihaft Matte aufgetragen, mit ein wenig Wasser bespr\u00fcht, die B\u00e4ume in der Farbe eingedr\u00fcckt und sie dann getrocknet. Diesen Vorgang habe ich wiederholt, bis mir das Ergebnis gefallen hat. Es ist wichtig, die Tinte trocknen zu lassen, bevor man mehr Tinte darauf gibt. Wenn ich nasse Tinte auf nasse Tinte gebe, vermischen sich die Farben, aber wenn ich nasse Tinte auf trockene Tinte gebe, \u00fcberlagern sich die Farben und erzeugen wundersch\u00f6ne Muster! Meine B\u00e4ume sind nicht alle gleich ausgemalt. Manche sind eher gr\u00fcn, manche eher braun oder grau. Diese Vielfalt gef\u00e4llt mir sehr gut. Nachdem meine B\u00e4ume fertig waren, habe ich an meinem Vordergrund gearbeitet. Erinnert ihr euch an die Seite, die ich am Anfang \u00fcbersprungen habe? Ich habe den inneren Teil dieser Seite ausgeschnitten, um einen Rahmen f\u00fcr meine Szene zu erstellen. Ich habe ein Falzwerkzeug verwendet, um zuf\u00e4llig Linien hinzuzuf\u00fcgen, und dann habe ich Distress Oxide Tinten verwendet, um es einzuf\u00e4rben. Ich wollte, dass es ein bisschen wie Holz aussieht, also waren meine Farben alle Braunt\u00f6ne (Brushed Corduroy, Ground Espresso und Scorched Timber). Zum Schluss habe ich ein bisschen Black Soot hinzugef\u00fcgt, haupts\u00e4chlich an den R\u00e4ndern. Ich habe die Sternstanze aus dem Sizzix Forest Shadows Thinlits Set verwendet und meine Sterne aus wei\u00dfem Karton ausgeschnitten. Ich habe sie am Himmelsteil meines Projekts befestigt, hinter einem von ihnen einige wei\u00dfe Linien hinzugef\u00fcgt (wir brauchen wirklich eine Sternschnuppe!!!) und sie dann mit Glossy Accents \u00fcberzogen! Und das war das Projekt f\u00fcr heute! Ich hatte beim Erstellen dieser Szene wirklich tintenverschmierte Finger, aber es hat mir wirklich Spa\u00df gemacht!
