Welcome back to another mixed media project. Today&#8217;s project was inspired by a Tag tutorial video made by Alison Bomber. I didn&#8217;t make the exact same thing Alison made and I didn&#8217;t use the same products but I really liked her colours. We publish our work to inspire others and we also get inspired by others! I could have used simple tags, as I did not use many wet or heavy mediums, but I like the size and the weight of these tags. I used four tags and I worked at the same time on all of them. They are pretty much the same. I used the mask part from the Tim Holtz Moon Mask to cover the area where I wanted the moon to be and then I added some colour around it using Distress Oxide inks. For the sky part I used Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks on the first set of tags, and on the second set I used Prize Ribbon and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide inks. The lower parts of all the tags are coloured with Ground Espresso and Scorched Timber Distress Oxide inks. I removed the moon mask and I added a little bit of colour on the moons as well, just to soften the edges and add some dimension. Then, I used the stencil part of the moon with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink to add some details on the moons. I used the Tim Holtz &#8222;Forgotten Garden&#8220; stamp set and I stamped the images one at a time. The flower images of this stamp set are sketched to look like they are taped down, so I had to clean the ink from the tape part of the images before I stamp. I did some second and third generation stamping, to create some depth, and then I stamped with full ink to create the focal points. For the stamping, I used Scorched Timber Distress Oxide ink, for the first set of tags, and Villainous Potion for the second set. I chose the white sentiment stripes and I coloured them with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink, for the first set of Tags, and with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink, for the second set. The sentiments say: &#8222;The journey is the destination&#8220;, &#8222;Not all who wander are lost&#8220;, &#8222;Start doing things you love&#8220;, &#8222;Live your dreams with passion&#8220;. I tried to create a sequence of phrases, to make them look like a little story. And I love the little reference to The Lord Of The Rings! Ich h\u00e4tte auch einfache Tags verwenden k\u00f6nnen, da ich nicht viele nasse oder schwere Medien verwendet habe, aber mir gefallen die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe und das Gewicht dieser Tags. Ich habe vier Tags verwendet und gleichzeitig an allen gearbeitet. Sie sind ziemlich gleich. Ich habe den Maskenteil der Tim Holtz Moon Mask verwendet, um den Bereich abzudecken, in dem der Mond sein sollte, und dann habe ich mit Distress Oxide Tinten etwas Farbe darum herum hinzugef\u00fcgt. F\u00fcr den Himmelsteil habe ich Prize Ribbon und Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Tinten f\u00fcr den ersten Satz Tags verwendet und f\u00fcr den zweiten Satz Prize Ribbon und Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Tinten. Die unteren Teile aller Tags sind mit Ground Espresso und Scorched Timber Distress Oxide Tinten eingef\u00e4rbt. Ich habe die Mondmaske entfernt und auch auf den Monden etwas Farbe hinzugef\u00fcgt, um die Kanten weicher zu machen und ihnen etwas Dimension geben. Dann habe ich den Schablonenteil des Mondes mit Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Tinte verwendet, um den Monden einige Details hinzuzuf\u00fcgen. Welcome back to another mixed media project. Today&#8217;s project was inspired by a Tag tutorial video made by Alison Bomber. I didn&#8217;t make the exact same thing Alison made and I didn&#8217;t use the same products but I really liked her colours. We publish our work to inspire others and we also get inspired by others! Let\u2019s start with the materials I used: Materials\u00a0(If something is not in stock, please simply click on \u201cProduct reminder\u201d\/ \u201cProdukterinnerung\u201d) For this project, I worked on the Distress Mixed Media heavystock tags. I could have used simple tags, as I did not use many wet or heavy mediums, but I like the size and the weight of these tags. I used four tags and I worked at the same time on all of them. They are pretty much the same. I used the mask part from the Tim Holtz Moon Mask to cover the area where I wanted the moon to be and then I added some colour around it using Distress Oxide inks. For the sky part I used Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks on the first set of tags, and on the second set I used Prize Ribbon and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide inks. The lower parts of all the tags are coloured with Ground Espresso and Scorched Timber Distress Oxide inks. I removed the moon mask and I added a little bit of colour on the moons as well, just to soften the edges and add some dimension. Then, I used the stencil part of the moon with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink to add some details on the moons. I splattered all the tags with some water, dabbed off the excess and dried them. My images are all just stamped this time. I used the Tim Holtz &#8222;Forgotten Garden&#8220; stamp set and I stamped the images one at a time. The flower images of this stamp set are sketched to look like they are taped down, so I had to clean the ink from the tape part of the images before I stamp. I did some second and third generation stamping, to create some depth, and then I stamped with full ink to create the focal points. For the stamping, I used Scorched Timber Distress Oxide ink, for the first set of tags, and Villainous Potion for the second set. After all the stamping was done, I splattered all the tags with Unravelled Distress Mica Stain Spray and I dried them. My sentiments all come from the Idea-Ology Small Talk Sticker Book. I chose the white sentiment stripes and I coloured them with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink, for the first set of Tags, and with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink, for the second set. The sentiments say: &#8222;The journey is the destination&#8220;, &#8222;Not all who wander are lost&#8220;, &#8222;Start doing things you love&#8220;, &#8222;Live your dreams with passion&#8220;. I tried to create a sequence of phrases, to make them look like a little story. And I love the little reference to The Lord Of The Rings! In the end, I decided to add some twine, just because I liked the idea of having something more than just flat Tags. And that was the project for today!
