Welcome back to another mixed media project. For today\u2019s project, I made some Halloween gift paper. That was a very fun and easy process! I used a length of about 60 cm. I started with the moon image, since it was the only one who needed a little bit of ink blending. So I used the bigger moon from the Tim Holtz Moon Mask, I placed the stencil part on my paper and I added Picket Fence (white) Distress ink all around it and on it. So easy and fast, the moon was done. I created 3 moons, but the one got cut out in the end. Then I used the bats stamp from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Unraveled&#8220; stamp set, with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, and I stamped the bats over the moons. The rest of my images come from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Unraveled&#8220;, &#8222;The Obscure&#8220;, &#8222;Foreboding&#8220; and &#8222;Mr. Bones&#8220; stamp sets. I stamped the bigger images with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and coloured them with Distress Crayons. For the smaller images, like the text and the spatter details, I used VersaFine Clair inks, in colours Cheerful (yellow), Blue Bell (blue), Glamorous (deep red) and Rain Forest (green). As you can see, I also stamped some of the sentiments from my stamp sets. I used the hatted skull stamp from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Mr. Bones&#8220; stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and I stamped it three times. Every one of these skulls became a different layer of my dimensional tag. On the bottom layer, I coloured only the eye. On the second layer I coloured the skull and the teeth and I cut out the eye. From the third layer, I kept only the hat. All the colouring was done with Distress Crayons. I used the new Tim Holtz Recoil Snips to cut the images. Those new scissors are just amazing for details, especially for people with problematic hands, like me. Cutting has never been easier for me, so I really recommend these scissors. They are amazing to work with! So, back to the tag, I used foam tape to attach all the layers together. The blue eye can be seen through the hole on the middle layer. I filled that hole with Glossy Accents, just to add some dimension and glossiness to the eye. I also attached a little metal spider on the hat. The spider comes from the Idea-Ology Adornments Spiders + Branches pack, which is unfortunately discontinued, so if you want to get it, you should hurry up. Once the supplies run out, it is not coming back&#8230; (sad!!!) But, since I have a tag, I also wanted an &#8218;official&#8216; sentiment. So, my tag sentiment comes from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Mr. Bones&#8220; stamp set and it is stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink directly on the back of the tag. I do not need Halloween gift paper very often, so I do not want to buy some and have to store it indefinitely. But I do find it very interesting to make the paper myself. Plus, it is a lot of fun! Ich habe mit dem Mondbild begonnen, da dies das einzige war, bei dem ein wenig Farbmischung erforderlich war. Also habe ich den gr\u00f6\u00dferen Mond aus der Tim Holtz Moon Mask verwendet, den Schablonenteil auf mein Papier gelegt und (wei\u00dfe) Picket Fence Distress Tinte drumherum und hinein gerieben. So einfach und schnell war der Mond fertig. Ich habe 3 Monde erstellt, aber einen habe ich am Ende wieder ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich den Fledermausstempel aus dem Tim Holtz-Stempelset \u201eUnraveled\u201c mit VersaFine Onyx Black Tinte verwendet und die Flederm\u00e4use \u00fcber die Monde gestempelt. Der Rest meiner Bilder stammt aus den Tim Holtz Stempelsets \u201eUnraveled\u201c, \u201eThe Obscure\u201c, \u201eForeboding\u201c und \u201eMr. Bones\u201c. Ich habe die gr\u00f6\u00dferen Bilder mit VersaFine Onyx Black Tinte gestempelt und sie mit Distress Crayons koloriert. F\u00fcr die kleineren Bilder, wie den Text und die Spritzerdetails, habe ich VersaFine Clair Tinten in den Farben Cheerful (Gelb), Blue Bell (Blau), Glamorous (Dunkelrot) und Rain Forest (Gr\u00fcn) verwendet. Wie ihr seht, habe ich auch einige der Spr\u00fcche aus meinen Stempelsets gestempelt. Ich habe den verhassten Totenkopfstempel aus dem Stempelset \u201eMr. Bones\u201c von Tim Holtz mit VersaFine Onyx Black Tinte verwendet und ihn dreimal gestempelt. Jeder dieser Totenk\u00f6pfe wurde zu einer anderen Schicht meines dreidimensionalen Etiketts. Auf der untersten Schicht habe ich nur das Auge ausgemalt. Auf der zweiten Schicht habe ich den Totenkopf und die Z\u00e4hne ausgemalt und das Auge ausgeschnitten. Von der dritten Schicht habe ich nur den Hut behalten. Zum Ausmalen habe ich mit Distress Crayons gemacht. Ich habde die neuen Recoil Snips von Tim Holtz zum Ausschneiden verwendet. Diese neuen Scheren sind einfach gro\u00dfartig f\u00fcr Details, besonders f\u00fcr Menschen mit problematischen H\u00e4nden, wie ich. Das Schneiden war f\u00fcr mich noch nie so einfach, daher kann ich diese Schere wirklich empfehlen. Es ist gro\u00dfartig, damit zu arbeiten! Also zur\u00fcck zum Etikett: Ich habe Schaumstoffklebeband verwendet, um alle Schichten zusammenzukleben. Das blaue Auge ist durch das Loch in der mittleren Schicht zu sehen. Ich habe das Loch mit Glossy Accents gef\u00fcllt, um dem Auge etwas mehr Dimension und Glanz zu verleihen. Au\u00dferdem habe ich eine kleine Metallspinne am Hut befestigt. Die Spinne stammt aus dem Idea-Ology Adornments Spiders + Branches Paket, das leider nicht mehr erh\u00e4ltlich ist. Wenn ihr sie also haben m\u00f6chtet, solltet ihr euch beeilen. Wenn der Vorrat aufgebraucht ist, kommt sie nicht mehr zur\u00fcck &#8230; (traurig!!!) Welcome back to another mixed media project. For today\u2019s project, I made some Halloween gift paper. That was a very fun and easy process! Let\u2019s start with the materials I used: Materials\u00a0(If something is not in stock, please simply click on \u201cProduct reminder\u201d\/ \u201cProdukterinnerung\u201d) To begin, I cut a piece of simple Kraft gift paper. I used a length of about 60 cm. I started with the moon image, since it was the only one who needed a little bit of ink blending. So I used the bigger moon from the Tim Holtz Moon Mask, I placed the stencil part on my paper and I added Picket Fence (white) Distress ink all around it and on it. So easy and fast, the moon was done. I created 3 moons, but the one got cut out in the end. Then I used the bats stamp from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Unraveled&#8220; stamp set, with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, and I stamped the bats over the moons. The rest of my images come from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Unraveled&#8220;, &#8222;The Obscure&#8220;, &#8222;Foreboding&#8220; and &#8222;Mr. Bones&#8220; stamp sets. I stamped the bigger images with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and coloured them with Distress Crayons. For the smaller images, like the text and the spatter details, I used VersaFine Clair inks, in colours Cheerful (yellow), Blue Bell (blue), Glamorous (deep red) and Rain Forest (green). As you can see, I also stamped some of the sentiments from my stamp sets. I kept filling out the paper, adding more images wherever I thought they were needed, until my paper gift paper was ready. Since I made a gift paper, I thought I should also make a tag to go with it! I used the hatted skull stamp from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Mr. Bones&#8220; stamp set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and I stamped it three times. Every one of these skulls became a different layer of my dimensional tag. On the bottom layer, I coloured only the eye. On the second layer I coloured the skull and the teeth and I cut out the eye. From the third layer, I kept only the hat. All the colouring was done with Distress Crayons. I used the new Tim Holtz Recoil Snips to cut the images. Those new scissors are just amazing for details, especially for people with problematic hands, like me. Cutting has never been easier for me, so I really recommend these scissors. They are amazing to work with! So, back to the tag, I used foam tape to attach all the layers together. The blue eye can be seen through the hole on the middle layer. I filled that hole with Glossy Accents, just to add some dimension and glossiness to the eye. I also attached a little metal spider on the hat. The spider comes from the Idea-Ology Adornments Spiders + Branches pack, which is unfortunately discontinued, so if you want to get it, you should hurry up. Once the supplies run out, it is not coming back&#8230; (sad!!!) Anyway (sniff sniff!!!), with the spider, my tag was done! As I already said, I used a lot of the sentiments of my stamp sets on the gift paper. But, since I have a tag, I also wanted an &#8218;official&#8216; sentiment. So, my tag sentiment comes from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Mr. Bones&#8220; stamp set and it is stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink directly on the back of the tag. It says: &#8222;Happy Halloween&#8220; and it fits just perfectly with all of my other elements! And that was the project for today! I do not need Halloween gift paper very often, so I do not want to buy some and have to store it indefinitely. But I do find it very interesting to make the paper myself. Plus, it is a lot of fun!
