Welcome back to another mixed media project. For today, I prepared a lovely little Christmas ballet scene, using one of the new Christmas collections from Stamperia. Because there are new, beautiful things in the shop and I couldn&#8217;t keep my hands off of them! This time I added the texture before anything else. I used the Echo Park Snowy Swirls stencil with Ranger Translucent Distress Grit Paste and I applied the design mostly around the center of my pages. I left the Paste to dry and then I added the colour. I used Kitsch Flamingo, Picket Fence and Walnut Stain Distress Paints and I mixed them directly on the pages as I was applying them. I love how the colour turned out! I dried the paint and then I added some Worn Lipstick Distress Spritz. I used a brush to add the Spritz in the swirls of the stencil design and also to splatter with it. My Spritz is a different colour than the pink paint I used so it stands out and I like it!!! Once the Spritz was dry, I added some pattern paper on two opposite corners of my project. My paper comes from the Background Selection of Stamperia&#8217;s &#8222;The Nutcracker&#8220; collection. I absolutely love Stamperia paper! It is a nice weight, lovely surface to work on and the patterns are amazing! So I added the paper on the corners, I darkened the edges of my pages with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and then I added more texture! I used the Stamperia Garlands stencil with Nuvo Indian Gold Embellishment Mousse, to add a small circle design on my project. I selected some images from the Stamperia &#8222;The Nutcracker&#8220; Maxi pad and I used the Tim Holtz Recoil Snips to cut them out. This paper pad has some really lovely images that can be used as focal points, but it also contains a lot of lovely backgrounds. Of course, all the backgrounds can be found in the Background Selection paper pad as well. The images I cut were small and detailed but the Recoil Snips I used are really good for that and they are really comfortable to the hands. So, I cut the images and I treated their edges with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink. I cut the little sentiment image out using the Recoil Snips and I treated its edges with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink. Then I placed it on my project. The sentiment says: &#8222;Dreams take flight in the world of the Nutcracker&#8220; and I totally agree. The world of the Nutcracker looks like a place were dreams come true! Dieses Mal habe ich zuerst die Textur hinzugef\u00fcgt. Ich habe die Echo Park Snowy Swirls Schablone mit Ranger Translucent Distress Grit Paste verwendet und das Design haupts\u00e4chlich um die Mitte meiner Seiten herum aufgetragen. Ich habe die Paste trocknen lassen und dann die Farbe hinzugef\u00fcgt. Ich habe Kitsch Flamingo, Picket Fence und Walnut Stain Distress Paints verwendet und sie direkt auf den Seiten gemischt, w\u00e4hrend ich sie aufgetragen habe. Ich liebe, wie die Farbe geworden ist! Ich habe die Farbe getrocknet und dann etwas Worn Lipstick Distress Spritz hinzugef\u00fcgt. Ich habe einen Pinsel verwendet, um das Spritz in die Wirbel des Schablonendesigns einzubringen und auch, um damit zu spritzen. Mein Spritz hat eine andere Farbe als die rosa Farbe, die ich verwendet habe, also f\u00e4llt es auf und ich mag es!!! Nachdem das Spritz getrocknet war, habe ich an zwei gegen\u00fcberliegenden Ecken meines Projekts etwas Musterpapier hinzugef\u00fcgt. Mein Papier stammt aus der Backgrounds Selection der \u201eThe Nutcracker\u201c Kollektion von Stamperia. Ich liebe Stamperia Papier! Es hat ein angenehmes Gewicht, eine sch\u00f6ne Oberfl\u00e4che zum Arbeiten und die Muster sind unglaublich toll! Also habe ich das Papier an den Ecken hinzugef\u00fcgt, die R\u00e4nder meiner Seiten mit Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Tinte abgedunkelt und dann mehr Textur hinzugef\u00fcgt! Ich habe die Stamperia Garlands Schablone mit Nuvo Indian Gold Embellishment Mousse verwendet, um meinem Projekt ein kleines Kreisdesign hinzuzuf\u00fcgen. Dieser Papierblock enth\u00e4lt einige wirklich sch\u00f6ne Bilder, die als Schwerpunkte verwendet werden k\u00f6nnen, aber er enth\u00e4lt auch viele sch\u00f6ne Hintergr\u00fcnde. Nat\u00fcrlich sind alle Hintergr\u00fcnde auch im Background Selection Papierblock zu finden. Die Bilder, die ich ausgeschnitten habe, waren klein und detailliert, aber die Recoil Snips, die ich verwendet habe, sind daf\u00fcr wirklich gut geeignet und liegen sehr gut in der Hand. Welcome back to another mixed media project. For today, I prepared a lovely little Christmas ballet scene, using one of the new Christmas collections from Stamperia. Because there are new, beautiful things in the shop and I couldn&#8217;t keep my hands off of them! Let\u2019s start with the materials I used: Materials\u00a0(If something is not in stock, please simply click on \u201cProduct reminder\u201d\/ \u201cProdukterinnerung\u201d) For today&#8217;s project, I worked in my Stamperia A6 Stone paper Journal and I started with the background. This time I added the texture before anything else. I used the Echo Park Snowy Swirls stencil with Ranger Translucent Distress Grit Paste and I applied the design mostly around the center of my pages. I left the Paste to dry and then I added the colour. I used Kitsch Flamingo, Picket Fence and Walnut Stain Distress Paints and I mixed them directly on the pages as I was applying them. I love how the colour turned out! I dried the paint and then I added some Worn Lipstick Distress Spritz. I used a brush to add the Spritz in the swirls of the stencil design and also to splatter with it. My Spritz is a different colour than the pink paint I used so it stands out and I like it!!! Once the Spritz was dry, I added some pattern paper on two opposite corners of my project. My paper comes from the Background Selection of Stamperia&#8217;s &#8222;The Nutcracker&#8220; collection. I absolutely love Stamperia paper! It is a nice weight, lovely surface to work on and the patterns are amazing! So I added the paper on the corners, I darkened the edges of my pages with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and then I added more texture! I used the Stamperia Garlands stencil with Nuvo Indian Gold Embellishment Mousse, to add a small circle design on my project. I splattered with the Worn Lipstick Distress Spritz again (because Spritz is never enough!!!) and the background was done. Time to prepare my images! I selected some images from the Stamperia &#8222;The Nutcracker&#8220; Maxi pad and I used the Tim Holtz Recoil Snips to cut them out. This paper pad has some really lovely images that can be used as focal points, but it also contains a lot of lovely backgrounds. Of course, all the backgrounds can be found in the Background Selection paper pad as well. The images I cut were small and detailed but the Recoil Snips I used are really good for that and they are really comfortable to the hands. So, I cut the images and I treated their edges with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink. Then I arranged them on my project. My sentiment also comes from the Stamperia &#8222;The Nutcracker&#8220; Maxi pad. I cut the little sentiment image out using the Recoil Snips and I treated its edges with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink. Then I placed it on my project. The sentiment says: &#8222;Dreams take flight in the world of the Nutcracker&#8220; and I totally agree. The world of the Nutcracker looks like a place were dreams come true! As a last little bit of embellishment, I added a few dots of Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops. And that was the project for today! I love the story of the Nutcracker.
