Welcome back to another Mixed Media project. I have a very Stampers Anonymous project for you today! As you might know, Stampers Anonymous have recently released some redesigned Tim Holtz products. I am using both one of the new sets and its original Stamp set in this project. I started with a good layer of Gesso, in order to reinforce my paper. This time, I went straight to the texture part. I used the Clockwork Layering stencil with Ranger Distress Translucent Grit Paste around the edges of my pages. Then I added colour. I used Distress Oxide inks in colours Vintage Photo, Mustard Seed and Pine Needles. I sprayed with the Distress inks, sprayed with some water (I didn&#8217;t want the colours to mix too much), I dabbed off the excess and then I dried the pages. I tend to leave a lighter coloured or white area in the middle of my project. I feel like this helps it &#8222;breath&#8220;, to not get too crowded. After everything was dry, I added splatter, using Antique Linen Distress Spritz, and then I dried the pages again. Time to add some stamping. I used stamps from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Dearly Departed&#8220; stamp set and from the new Tim Holtz &#8222;Rest in Peace&#8220; (THMM172) Stamp\/Stencil set. I used Jet Black Archival ink for most of the stamping, but I also added some text details with VersaFine Clair Acorn (brown) ink. If you know me, you know I like some extra splatter! I guess it is not a surprise that I added more. I used Picket Fence (white) Distress Paint and splattered one last time before I dry my project again. I used the flower stamps from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Dearly Departed&#8220; stamp set and from the new Tim Holtz &#8222;Rest in Peace&#8220; (THMM172) Stamp\/Stencil set. The flower branches are the same in both sets but the newer one is smaller. I stamped both flower branches a couple times, with Jet Black Archival ink and coloured them with Distress Oxide inks, in colours Dried Merigold, Ripe Persimmon, Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio. I cut the flower branches out by hand. To make my images more three dimensional, I used the part of the big branch with the open flower and I created two extras of those flowers. I attached my images to the project and then I attached the extra flowers on top of the flowers on my project. I chose a black sentiment strip because I thought black would fit better with my colours. I cut the strip in three pieces to make it fit better in the place where I wanted it to be. I attached it and then I added some white highlights around it. The sentiment says: &#8222;If you&#8217;re lucky enough to be different, never change&#8220; and I find it absolutely perfect! I have so much fun with projects like this one. It is always interesting to start with the pastes and then see how they will react with the colours. Not all of them react the same. Ich habe mit einer dicken Schicht Gesso begonnen, um das Papier zu verst\u00e4rken. Dieses Mal bin ich direkt zum Strukturteil \u00fcbergegangen. Ich habe die Clockwork Layering Schablone mit Ranger Distress Translucent Grit Paste an den Seitenr\u00e4ndern verwendet. Anschlie\u00dfend habe ich Farbe hinzugef\u00fcgt. Ich habe Distress Oxide Tinten in den Farben Vintage Photo, Mustard Seed und Pine Needles verwendet. Ich habe die Distress Tinten ver8spr\u00fcht, sie mit etwas Wasser bespr\u00fcht (ich wollte nicht, dass sich die Farben zu sehr vermischen), den \u00dcberschuss abgetupft und die Seiten anschlie\u00dfend getrocknet. Normalerweise lasse ich in der Mitte meines Projekts einen helleren oder wei\u00dfen Bereich. Ich finde, das hilft dem Projekt, zu \u201eatmen\u201c, damit es nicht zu \u00fcberladen wirkt. Nachdem alles getrocknet war, habe ich mit Antique Linen Distress Spritz Spritzer hinzugef\u00fcgt und die Seiten anschlie\u00dfend erneut getrocknet. Zeit f\u00fcr den Stempel. Ich habe die Blumenstempel aus dem Tim Holtz \u201eDearly Departed\u201c Stempelset und aus dem neuen Tim Holtz \u201eRest in Peace\u201c (THMM172) Stempel\/Schablonenset verwendet. Die Bl\u00fctenzweige sind in beiden Sets gleich, aber das Neuere ist kleiner. Ich habe beide Bl\u00fctenzweige mehrmals mit Jet Black Archivtinte gestempelt und mit Distress Oxide Tinten in den Farben Dried Merigold, Ripe Persimmon, Salvaged Patina und Cracked Pistachio koloriert. Die Bl\u00fctenzweige habe ich von Hand ausgeschnitten. Um meinen Bildern mehr Plastizit\u00e4t zu verleihen, habe ich den Teil des gro\u00dfen Zweigs mit der offenen Bl\u00fcte verwendet und zwei zus\u00e4tzliche Bl\u00fcten dieser Art erstellt. Ich habe meine Bilder an das Projekt angebracht und dann die zus\u00e4tzlichen Blumen \u00fcber die Blumen in meinem Projekt geklebt. Ich habe den Streifen in drei Teile geschnitten, damit er besser an die gew\u00fcnschte Stelle passt. Ich habe ihn aufgeklebt und anschlie\u00dfend wei\u00dfe Akzente gesetzt. Der Spruch lautet: \u201eWenn du das Gl\u00fcck hast, anders zu sein, \u00e4ndere dich nie\u201c und ich finde ihn einfach perfekt! Welcome back to another Mixed Media project. I have a very Stampers Anonymous project for you today! As you might know, Stampers Anonymous have recently released some redesigned Tim Holtz products. I am using both one of the new sets and its original Stamp set in this project. Let\u2019s start with the materials I used: Materials(If something is not in stock,please simply click on \u201cProduct reminder\u201d\/ \u201cProdukterinnerung\u201d) For today&#8217;s project, I worked in a watercolour book, as I knew I was going to use wet mediums. I started with a good layer of Gesso, in order to reinforce my paper. This time, I went straight to the texture part. I used the Clockwork Layering stencil with Ranger Distress Translucent Grit Paste around the edges of my pages. Then I added colour. I used Distress Oxide inks in colours Vintage Photo, Mustard Seed and Pine Needles. I sprayed with the Distress inks, sprayed with some water (I didn&#8217;t want the colours to mix too much), I dabbed off the excess and then I dried the pages. I tend to leave a lighter coloured or white area in the middle of my project. I feel like this helps it &#8222;breath&#8220;, to not get too crowded. After everything was dry, I added splatter, using Antique Linen Distress Spritz, and then I dried the pages again. Time to add some stamping. I used stamps from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Dearly Departed&#8220; stamp set and from the new Tim Holtz &#8222;Rest in Peace&#8220; (THMM172) Stamp\/Stencil set. I used Jet Black Archival ink for most of the stamping, but I also added some text details with VersaFine Clair Acorn (brown) ink. If you know me, you know I like some extra splatter! I guess it is not a surprise that I added more. I used Picket Fence (white) Distress Paint and splattered one last time before I dry my project again. I used my Jet Black ink to darken the edges of the pages, and the background was done! Time to prepare my images. I used the flower stamps from the Tim Holtz &#8222;Dearly Departed&#8220; stamp set and from the new Tim Holtz &#8222;Rest in Peace&#8220; (THMM172) Stamp\/Stencil set. The flower branches are the same in both sets but the newer one is smaller. I stamped both flower branches a couple times, with Jet Black Archival ink and coloured them with Distress Oxide inks, in colours Dried Merigold, Ripe Persimmon, Salvaged Patina and Cracked Pistachio. I cut the flower branches out by hand. To make my images more three dimensional, I used the part of the big branch with the open flower and I created two extras of those flowers. I attached my images to the project and then I attached the extra flowers on top of the flowers on my project. To add some shadows around my images, I used Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink and a stiff brush. My sentiment comes from the Idea-Ology Small Talk Sticker Book. I chose a black sentiment strip because I thought black would fit better with my colours. I cut the strip in three pieces to make it fit better in the place where I wanted it to be. I attached it and then I added some white highlights around it. The sentiment says: &#8222;If you&#8217;re lucky enough to be different, never change&#8220; and I find it absolutely perfect! As a last little bit of embellishment, I added some dots of Nuvo Bright Gold Crystal Drops in the centers of the flowers. And that was the project for today! I have so much fun with projects like this one. It is always interesting to start with the pastes and then see how they will react with the colours. Not all of them react the same. Um meinen Bildern mehr Plastizit\u00e4t zu verleihen, habe ich den Teil des gro\u00dfen Zweigs mit der offenen Bl\u00fcte verwendet und zwei zus\u00e4tzliche Bl\u00fcten dieser Art erstellt. Ich habe meine Bilder an das Projekt angebracht und dann die zus\u00e4tzlichen Blumen \u00fcber die Blumen in meinem Projekt geklebt. Um Schatten um meine Bilder zu erzeugen, habe ich Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Tinte und einen steifen Pinsel verwendet. Mein Spruch stammt aus dem Idea-Ology Small Talk Sticker Book. Ich habe einen schwarzen Spruchstreifen gew\u00e4hlt, weil ich dachte, Schwarz w\u00fcrde besser zu meinen Farben passen. Ich habe den Streifen in drei Teile geschnitten, damit er besser an die gew\u00fcnschte Stelle passt. Ich habe ihn aufgeklebt und anschlie\u00dfend wei\u00dfe Akzente gesetzt. Der Spruch lautet: \u201eWenn du das Gl\u00fcck hast, anders zu sein, \u00e4ndere dich nie\u201c und ich finde ihn einfach perfekt! Als letzte kleine Verzierung habe ich in der Mitte der Blumen ein paar Punkte mit Nuvo Bright Gold Crystal Drops angebracht. Und das war das Projekt f\u00fcr heute! Ich habe so viel Spa\u00df an solchen Projekten. Es ist immer interessant, mit den Pasten anzufangen und dann zu sehen, wie sie mit den Farben reagieren. Nicht alle reagieren gleich.
