{"id":7798,"date":"2022-12-07T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-07T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/blog\/?p=7798"},"modified":"2022-12-06T15:33:05","modified_gmt":"2022-12-06T14:33:05","slug":"i-turtely-adore-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/blog\/2022\/12\/07\/i-turtely-adore-you\/","title":{"rendered":"I Turtely Adore You"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>*German version below | Deutsche Version unten*<\/strong><br><br>Hello again and Happy Wednesday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today I have a set of 3 ATC&#8217;s that I&#8217;d like to share with you &#8211; but first, here the products I used:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/stempel\/hersteller-k-z\/mft\/\">&#8222;Too-Cute Turtles&#8220; stamp set by My Favorite Things<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/schablonen-stanzen-embossingfolder\/hersteller\/die-namics\/\">&#8222;Too-Cute Turtles&#8220; dies by My Favorite Things<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/stempel\/hersteller-k-z\/mft\">&#8222;Go With It&#8220; stamp set by My Favorite Things<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/stempelzubehoer\/stempelkissen\/versafine\">Versafine Onyx Black Ink<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As always I started with creating the backgrounds for my ATC&#8217;s &#8211; I went with pre-cut ATC&#8217;s (I never get it straight hence pre-cut) and used the different arrows from the &#8222;Go With It&#8220; stamp set. I stamped the images with Onyx Black Ink but again decided to not go for a proper stamped image but more of a distressed look (similar to the card from a few weeks ago). Which look do you prefer, distressed or perfectly stamped?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I then stamped one of the two images from the &#8222;Too-Cute Turtles&#8220; stamp set on marker paper and coloured in the turtles with my alcohol markers (as I had used black ink for the background I of course had to sneak in a little rainbow when colouring the critters!). As I like the look of heat embossed lines I put the paper with the images back in my stamping platform and stamped again in Versafine Onyx Black Ink in order to heat emboss with clear embossing powder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once done I used the matching dies to cut out the images &#8211; do you tend to buy matching dies or don&#8217;t you mind fuzzy cutting?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To finalize the ATC&#8217;s I stamped the first part of the sentiment on black card stock (I masked off the part I didn&#8217;t want to use) with VersaMark ink and heat embossed in white and then repeated the process for the second part of the sentiment. Wie bei der Karte, die ich Euch vor ein paar Wochen gezeigt habe, habe ich mich wieder f\u00fcr einen Distressed Look anstatt eines perfekten Abdrucks entschieden. Welcher Look gef\u00e4llt Euch besser &#8211; ein perfekter oder ein etwas ungenauerer Abdruck? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als n\u00e4chstes habe ich eine der beiden Schildkr\u00f6ten aus dem Set &#8222;Too-Cute Turtles&#8220; abgestempelt und anschlie\u00dfend mit meinen Alkoholmarkern coloriert (nachdem mein Hintergrund diesmal schwarz ist, musste ich bei den Schildkr\u00f6ten nat\u00fcrlich meine Regenbogenfarben unterbringen \ud83d\ude09). Ich habe die Motive anschlie\u00dfend nochmals mit Versafine Onyx Black Ink gestempelt (dank meiner Stempelhilfe ist das ja \u00fcberhaupt kein Problem!) und anschlie\u00dfend mit klarem Embossingpulver embossed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anschlie\u00dfend habe ich noch die passenden Stanzen verwendet &#8211; kauft Ihr eigentlich auch gerne die passenden Stanzen oder st\u00f6rt es Euch nicht, die Motive per Hand auszuschneiden? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um die ATC&#8217;s final zu gestalten muss nat\u00fcrlich noch ein Spruch drauf &#8211; hierf\u00fcr habe ich den ersten Teil des Spruches auf schwarzem Cardstock mit Versamark gestempelt und anschlie\u00dfend wei\u00df embossed (und den Teil vom Spruch, den ich nicht brauchte, habe ich mit einem Restst\u00fcck Papier einfach abgedeckt). Das Ganze habe ich nat\u00fcrlich auch noch f\u00fcr den zweiten Teil des Spruches gemacht.
