{"id":7869,"date":"2022-12-21T07:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-21T06:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/blog\/?p=7869"},"modified":"2022-12-20T21:29:30","modified_gmt":"2022-12-20T20:29:30","slug":"you-make-my-life-magical","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/blog\/2022\/12\/21\/you-make-my-life-magical\/","title":{"rendered":"You Make My Life MAGICAL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>*German version below | Deutsche Version unten*<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today I wanted to share with you a set of one card and two ATC&#8217;s \u2013 but first, here the list of products I used:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/stempel\/hersteller-k-z\/mft\/\">\u201cMagical Dragon\u201d stamp set by My Favorite Things<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/stempel\/hersteller-k-z\/mft\/\">\u201cJumbo Mod Borders\u201d stamp set by My Favorite Things<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/stempelzubehoer\/stempelkissen\/distress-ink\/\">*Alternative Product* Distress Inks<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/stempelzubehoer\/stempelkissen\/versafine\">VersaFine Onyx Black Ink<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stamping-fairies.de\/schablonen-stanzen-embossingfolder\/schablonen-stencils\/\">Stencils<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I was first asked whether I would exchange a set of a card and two ATC&#8217;s I immediately knew that I was going to use the &#8222;<strong>Magical Dragon<\/strong>&#8220; stamp set &#8211; in my opinion this set is perfect for such project. \ud83d\ude0a For the background I decided to go with the &#8222;<strong>Jumbo Mod Borders<\/strong>&#8220; stamp set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I started with creating the background of both the card panel and the ATC&#8217;s, I stamped one of the bold background borders with <strong>Versafine Onyx Black Ink<\/strong> and clear heat embossed as I really like the shine of the melted embossing powder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I wanted to add a bit of colour to the background I picked three different <strong>stencils <\/strong>from my stash and ink blended the pattern with <strong>my colourful inks<\/strong> on top. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I then grabbed the &#8222;<strong>Magical Dragon<\/strong>&#8220; stamp set and started stamping three of the images, the sitting dragon, the knight and the damsel. However, I wanted to face the flying dragon the other way around, means the knight and his damsel as I felt that would fit the scene much better.<br>In order to mirror the image of the dragon I used my stamping platform and a spare piece of plastic from a packaging, I inked up the image and stamped on top of the plastic. I then gently put my piece of paper on top of the plastic in order to transfer the image. I did have to repeat this step a few times but in the end this worked just fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After colouring in the images with my alcohol markers I cut the images and also prepared the sentiments. Dieses habe ich mit Versafine Onyx Black Ink abgestempelt und anschlie\u00dfend in klar embossed. Die Ausrichtung des Pfeil-Hintergrund-Stempels habe ich \u00fcbrigens an die &#8222;Szene&#8220; angepasst. \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ich wollte allerdings noch etwas Farbe, also habe ich mir drei verschiedene Schablonen genommen und die Muster mit meinen bunten Inks aufgebracht. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anschlie\u00dfend habe ich die ersten drei Motive aus dem Set&#8220;Magical Dragon&#8220; abgestempelt, den sitzenden Drachen sowie den Ritter und das Burgfr\u00e4ulein. Damit meine &#8222;Szene&#8220; auf den beiden ATC&#8217;s aber besser passt, musste der fliegende Drache in die andere Richtung, also auf den Ritter und sein Burgfr\u00e4ulein, zufliegen. <br>Um den Abdruck zu spiegeln habe ich mit meiner Stempelhilfe und einem Restst\u00fcck Plastik von einer Verpackung gearbeitet. Ich habe das Drachen-Motiv auf das Plastikst\u00fcck gestempelt und anschlie\u00dfend ganz vorsichtig ein St\u00fcck Papier dr\u00fcber gelegt um so den Abdruck auf das Papier zu bekommen.
