<\/figure>\n\n\n\nI built this project on a 25 x 15 cm canvas. I started by applying white Gesso, to create a nice surface for my inks to lay on. I wanted some texture and I was thinking of something like a brick wall. So, I used the Lawn Fawn Brick stencil with Ranger Texture Crackle Paste on random parts of the canvas. I left it to dry and then I coloured it using the Lumberjack Plaid Distress Stain Spray and the Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Spray. I tried to concentrate the red on the brick pattern and the brown all around it. In the end they mixed up together and I really liked it! Once my canvas was dry, I used my finger to apply some of the White Pearl Prima Metallique Wax just on the brick pattern. I used a stiff brush and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink to darken the edges of the canvas and the background was ready!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n\n\n\nAs a focal point for this project, I used an Idea-Ology Curio Frame with a photo of my little sister when she was still pregnant with her son. A proud mom to be!!! To embellish the area around this frame, I created some cherry branches and flowers, using a Prima mould. I used hot glue in the mould, because I find it easier and faster, but I could have used clay or resin with very similar results. I covered my branches and flowers with white gesso and after they were dry, I coloured them with the Prima Opal Magic Blue-Gold acrylic paint. I love this paint! No kidding! It has the blue colour and a gold undertone and they all mix lovely together, giving amazing results! After the paint was dry, I added the shading. To do that, I covered everything really well with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide ink and then I used a wet wipe to remove the colour from the raised areas. I cleaned a lot but I also left a lot of the brown in the sunken areas. I wanted these branches and flowers to look like old wall moulding. I hope I did well. I attached the branches and the flowers on the canvas using more hot glue and then I used my stiff brush and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink to add some shading around them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used white cardstock for the main letters and mint cardstock for the letter frames. The second part spells „to be“ and it is cut out of white cardstock, with the Craft Emotions Uppercase dies. The whole sentiment says „Mom to be“ and I think it fits perfectly with the photo I used! As a last little bit of embellishment, I used the Craft Emotions Schmetterlinge 2 (Butterfly 2) stamp set, with Distress Oxide inks in different colours, to create some butterflies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich habe dieses Projekt auf einer 25 x 15 cm gro\u00dfen Leinwand gebaut. Ich habe es trocknen gelassen und es dann mit dem Lumberjack Plaid Distress Stain Spray und dem Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Spray gef\u00e4rbt. Ich habe versucht, das Rot auf das Ziegelmuster und das Braun darum herum zu konzentrieren. Am Ende haben sie sich alle vermischt und ich mochte es wirklich! Sobald meine Leinwand trocken war, habe ich mit dem Finger etwas von dem White Pearl Prima Metallique Wax direkt auf das Ziegelmuster aufgetragen. Ich habe einen steifen Pinsel und Black Soot Distress Oxide-Tinte benutzt, um die R\u00e4nder der Leinwand abzudunkeln, und fertig war der Hintergrund!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Als Schwerpunkt f\u00fcr dieses Projekt habe ich einen Idea-Ology Curio Frame mit einem Foto meiner kleinen Schwester verwendet, als sie noch mit ihrem Sohn schwanger war. Eine stolze werdende Mama!!! Um den Bereich um diesen Rahmen herum zu versch\u00f6nern, habe ich mit einer Prima-Form einige Kirschzweige und Blumen kreiert. Ich habe Hei\u00dfkleber in der Form verwendet, weil ich es einfacher und schneller finde, aber ich h\u00e4tte Ton oder Kunstharz mit sehr \u00e4hnlichen Ergebnissen verwenden k\u00f6nnen. Meine Zweige und Bl\u00fcten habe ich mit wei\u00dfem Gesso \u00fcberzogen und nach dem Trocknen mit der Acrylfarbe Prima Opal Magic Blue-Gold coloriert. Ich liebe diesen Lack! Im Ernst! Es hat die blaue Farbe und einen goldenen Unterton und sie mischen sich alle wunderbar zusammen und ergeben erstaunliche Ergebnisse! Nachdem die Farbe trocken war, habe ich die Schattierung hinzugef\u00fcgt. Dazu habe ich alles richtig gut mit Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Tinte abgedeckt und dann mit einem Feuchttuch die Farbe von den erhabenen Stellen entfernt. Ich habe viel geputzt, aber ich habe auch viel Braun in den eingesunkenen Bereichen gelassen. Ich wollte, dass diese Zweige und Blumen wie alte Wandleisten aussehen. Ich hoffe, ich habe es gut gemacht. Ich habe die \u00c4ste und die Blumen mit mehr Hei\u00dfkleber auf der Leinwand befestigt und dann mit meinem steifen Pinsel und Black Soot Distress Oxide-Tinte etwas Schattierung um sie herum hinzugef\u00fcgt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich habe wei\u00dfen Cardstock f\u00fcr die Hauptbuchstaben und mintfarbenen Cardstock f\u00fcr die Buchstabenrahmen verwendet. Der zweite Teil steht f\u00fcr \u201eto be\u201c und ist aus wei\u00dfem Karton gestanzt, mit den Craft Emotions Uppercase Stanzformen. Der ganze Spruch sagt „Mom to be“ (werdende Mutter) und ich denke, es passt perfekt zu dem Foto, das ich verwendet habe! Als letzte kleine Versch\u00f6nerung habe ich das Stempelset Craft Emotions Schmetterlinge 2 mit Distress Oxide-Tinten in verschiedenen Farben verwendet, um einige Schmetterlinge zu kreieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
