Sooo excited

*German version below | Deutsche Version unten*

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!

Yes, the Stampingbella birdies are back 😊 – but first, here the list of products I used:

As I had the “Oddball Bird” stamp set out from the last card I decided to go ahead and create another card featuring the birdies – I love the sarcastic face expression and think they go really well on birthday cards. Do you agree or disagree?

For the background I decided to go with a colourful row of balloons, so I grabbed the MFT “balloon party” stencil and started ink blending. However, as I wanted the balloons to overlap I didn’t follow the pattern of the stencil but masked off some of the balloons.

Once the background was done I grabbed the “Alpha Stretch” dies and die cut all the letters for the word “excited” from black cardstock.

I then went ahead and started arranging the letters on my card in order to decide where to place them and to ensure at the same time to have enough space for the two birds. Once I settled on the placement I coloured in the two birds with my alcohol markers, of course they should match the balloons, hence one bird being turquoise and the other one pink.

Last step was to glue everything down on the card panel, I started with the individual letters for the word “excited” and then added the two birds as well as the subsentiments and a few Enamel dots for the finishing touches. I also added “Glossy Accents” to the black letters in order to give them a bit more dimension.

I hope you like this card – this is also my last card as guest designer, 3 months went by really fast. But you might have already seen it in the recent newsletter, I am going to join the Stamping Fairies design team from December onwards! 😊
I am super excited and grateful for being given this chance – I will from next month onwards share weekly inspiration (lots of rainbow colours to be involved of course! 😉).

Have a wonderful day!

Habt einen tollen Tag!
