Hello again and Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a set of 3 ATC’s that I’d like to share with you – but first, here the products I used:

As always I started with creating the backgrounds for my ATC’s – I went with pre-cut ATC’s (I never get it straight hence pre-cut) and used the different arrows from the “Go With It” stamp set. I stamped the images with Onyx Black Ink but again decided to not go for a proper stamped image but more of a distressed look (similar to the card from a few weeks ago). Which look do you prefer, distressed or perfectly stamped?

I then stamped one of the two images from the “Too-Cute Turtles” stamp set on marker paper and coloured in the turtles with my alcohol markers (as I had used black ink for the background I of course had to sneak in a little rainbow when colouring the critters!). As I like the look of heat embossed lines I put the paper with the images back in my stamping platform and stamped again in Versafine Onyx Black Ink in order to heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Once done I used the matching dies to cut out the images – do you tend to buy matching dies or don’t you mind fuzzy cutting?

To finalize the ATC’s I stamped the first part of the sentiment on black card stock (I masked off the part I didn’t want to use) with VersaMark ink and heat embossed in white and then repeated the process for the second part of the sentiment. Last step was to adhering everything on the ATC and then they are ready to go. 🙂

Hallo Ihr, ich hoffe, Ihr habt einen guten Start in den Mittwoch!

Heute habe ich ein Set bestehend aus 3 ATC’s, das ich gerne mit Euch teilen möchte – hier aber erst einmal die Liste der verwendeten Produkte:

Wie immer habe ich damit begonnen, den Hintergrund der ATC’s zu gestalten, hierfür habe ich die Pfeile aus dem Stempelset “Go With It” genommen und diese mit Versafine Onyx Black Ink abgestempelt. Wie bei der Karte, die ich Euch vor ein paar Wochen gezeigt habe, habe ich mich wieder für einen Distressed Look anstatt eines perfekten Abdrucks entschieden. Welcher Look gefällt Euch besser – ein perfekter oder ein etwas ungenauerer Abdruck?

Als nächstes habe ich eine der beiden Schildkröten aus dem Set “Too-Cute Turtles” abgestempelt und anschließend mit meinen Alkoholmarkern coloriert (nachdem mein Hintergrund diesmal schwarz ist, musste ich bei den Schildkröten natürlich meine Regenbogenfarben unterbringen 😉). Ich habe die Motive anschließend nochmals mit Versafine Onyx Black Ink gestempelt (dank meiner Stempelhilfe ist das ja überhaupt kein Problem!) und anschließend mit klarem Embossingpulver embossed.

Anschließend habe ich noch die passenden Stanzen verwendet – kauft Ihr eigentlich auch gerne die passenden Stanzen oder stört es Euch nicht, die Motive per Hand auszuschneiden?

Um die ATC’s final zu gestalten muss natürlich noch ein Spruch drauf – hierfür habe ich den ersten Teil des Spruches auf schwarzem Cardstock mit Versamark gestempelt und anschließend weiß embossed (und den Teil vom Spruch, den ich nicht brauchte, habe ich mit einem Reststück Papier einfach abgedeckt). Das Ganze habe ich natürlich auch noch für den zweiten Teil des Spruches gemacht. Anschließend noch alles aufkleben und fertig sind die ATC’s.
