Sending Some Love Your Way

Hello and Happy Wednesday!
Today I would like to share with you a Valentine’s themed project but first, here the list of products I used:

I participated in a Valentine’s Day card swap and this is the project I created – I wanted to do something fun so I decided to go with six die cut hearts that I added lots of colour and gnomies to (I had seen this type of project on Instagram, loved it and wanted to re-create).

I started with die cutting the hearts out of white paper, however, I also went through my scrap drawer and cut the hearts out of black, pink, silver and patterned paper that I planned to add to the back of the white ones for some stability.
I picked the stamp sets “Go With It“, “Artful of Circles” and one more background stamp from Darkroom Door and stamped the images in either Versafine Onyx Black Ink or with embossing ink. I added clear embossing powder to the images stamped in black and silver embossing powder to the image stamped with embossing ink and heat set the powder. Once the powder had cooled down I added my colourful inks on top.
For the other three hearts I decided to go with stencils, I chose to go with the “Herringbone” stencil, the “Lots of Hearts” stencil and one more from my stash.

As images I went with two stamp sets by MFT “Love You Gnome Matter What” and “Love to My Gnomies“. As always I coloured in the images with my Copics and then re-stamped the images with Versafine Onyx Black Ink in order to heat emboss. I also used two of the matching sentiment stamps on this project.

I also wanted to personalize the project with the name of the recipient, here I used the die set “Alph. Stretch Lower & Numbers” by Sizzix.

Last step was to punch holes into all six hearts and then to add all the hearts to a binding ring.

Hallo, ich hoffe, Ihr habt einen schönen Mittwoch!
Heute habe ich ein vom Valentinstag inspiriertes Projekt, zuerst aber wie immer die Liste der verwendeten Produkte:

Ich habe an einem Kartentausch zum Valentinstag teilgenommen und dies ist das Projekt, das ich gebastelt habe. Ich hatte Lust mal was anderes als die typische Karte zu machen, daher habe ich mich für sechs Herzen entschieden, die passend zum Thema dekoriert wurden (das Ganze habe ich in einem Instagram Reel gesehen, ich fand das Projekt toll und musste es einfach nachbasteln).

Ich habe zuerst aus weißem Papier sechs Herzen ausgestanzt, gleichzeitig habe ich sechs weitere Herzen aus schwarzem, silbernen, pinkem und gemustertem Papier gestanzt – diese wollte ich auf den Rückseiten der weißen Herzen anbringen damit diese etwas stabiler sind.

Anschließend ging es ans dekorieren der Herzen, ich habe die Stempelsets “Go With It“, “Artful of Circles” and einen Hintergrundstempel von Darkroom Door verwendet. Diese habe ich entweder mit Versafine Onyx Black Ink gestempelt um danach noch klares Embossingpulver zu verwenden bzw. habe ich das Motiv mit Embossingtinte abgestempelt und dann silbernes Embossingpulver verwendet. Anschließend habe ich noch – wie könnte es anders sein – noch meine bunten Inks verwendet um etwas Farbe ins Spiel zu bringen.
Auf den anderen drei Herzen habe ich verschiedene Schablonen verwendet, unter anderem die “Herringbone” sowie die “Lots of Hearts” Schablone.

Ich habe außerdem die knuffigen Gnomies aus den Stempelsets “Love You Gnome Matter What” und “Love to My Gnomies” verwendet. Diese habe ich wie immer mit meinen Copics coloriert und anschließend erneut mit Versafine Onyx Black Ink gestempelt um klares Embossingpulver zu verwenden. Ich habe außerdem zwei der passenden Sprüche aus den Sets verwendet.

Ich wollte eines der Herzen außerdem mit dem Namen der Empfängerin personalisieren, hierfür habe ich die Buchstabenstanzen aus dem Set “Alph. Stretch Lower & Numbers” von Sizzix verwendet.

Im letzten Schritt habe ich noch Löcher in die Herzen gemacht und sie auf einem Buchring angebracht.
