Didn’t planet to miss your birthday

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another mixed media project. For today, I prepared a project based on our Challenge theme, which is Birthday! Let’s start with the materials I used:

Materials

As is my tradition, I started with the background. I made a simple ink blending using Distress Oxide inks in colours Speckled Egg, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Villainous Potion. To add some texture on my background, I used the Stamperia Postcard stencil with Ranger Texture Crackle Paste. This paste is designed to absorb the colour so it didn’t remain white and I really like this! I was trying to make a sky or a galaxy background so, of course, I needed stars! I used Picket Fence Distress Paint to splatter my background with white, I dried it and then I splattered again, this time with Confetti White Perfect Pearls powder diluted with water. I made a lot of stars in my sky! I dried my background and then I used a stencil with circles and my white Gelly Roll pen to add some circle patterns. I really like circle patterns. I believe they add a lot of interest. With this last little detail, my background was ready!

I created my images for this project, using the Year Eleven stamp set by Lawn Fawn. I stamped the planet images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with alcohol markers. I added a few highlights on them, with my white Gelly Roll pen, I cut them out by hand (yes, even the little stars…!!!) and attached them on my project.

My sentiment also comes from the Year Eleven stamp set by Lawn Fawn. I stamped it on white cardstock, with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and I cut it in stripes. It says “Sorry I missed your Birthday (I didn’t planet that way)”. I love the word play between the words plan and planet! I attached the sentiment on my project and then I darkened the edges around it with a black pen. As a last little bit of embellishment, I added some Glossy Accents on the planet rings and on the little stars.

And that was the project for today! Just seeing those little planets makes me happy! They look so cute! Our Birthday challenge will be running until the end of the month. Hallo zusammen! Willkommen zurück zu einem weiteren Mixed-Media-Projekt. Für heute habe ich ein Projekt vorbereitet, das auf unserem Challenge Thema basiert: Geburtstag! Beginnen wir mit den Materialien, die ich verwendet habe:

Wie es meine Tradition ist, habe ich mit dem Hintergrund begonnen. Ich habe eine einfache Tintenmischung mit Distress Oxide Tinten in den Farben Speckled Egg, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire und Villainous Potion erstellt. Um meinem Hintergrund etwas Textur zu verleihen, habe ich die Stamperia Postcard Schablone mit Ranger Texture Crackle Paste verwendet. Diese Paste soll die Farbe absorbieren, sodass sie nicht weiß bleibt, und das gefällt mir gut! Ich habe versucht, einen Himmel oder einen Galaxienhintergrund zu erstellen, also brauchte ich natürlich Sterne! Ich habe Picket Fence Distress Paint verwendet, um meinen Hintergrund mit Weiß zu bespritzen, habe es getrocknet und dann erneut bespritzt, dieses Mal mit Confetti White Perfect Pearls Pulver, verdünnt mit Wasser. Ich habe viele Sterne in meinen Himmel gemacht! Ich habe meinen Hintergrund getrocknet und dann mit einer Kreisschablone und meinem weißen Gelly Roll Stift einige Kreismuster hinzugefügt. Ich mag Kreismuster sehr. Ich glaube, dass sie viel Interesse wecken. Mit diesem letzten kleinen Detail war mein Hintergrund fertig!

Ich habe meine Bilder für dieses Projekt mit dem Stempelset „Year Eleven“ von Lawn Fawn erstellt. Ich habe die Planetenbilder mit Memento Tuxedo Black Tinte gestempelt und sie mit Alkoholmarkern koloriert. Ich habe mit meinem weißen Gelly Roll Stift ein paar Highlights daraufgesetzt, sie von Hand ausgeschnitten (ja, sogar die kleinen Sterne…!!!) und sie an meinem Projekt angebracht.

Mein Spruch kommt auch vom den Stempelset „Year Eleven“ von Lawn Fawn. Ich habe es mit VersaFine Onyx Black Tinte auf weißen Karton gestempelt und es in Streifen geschnitten. Es heißt: „Es tut mir leid, dass ich deinen Geburtstag verpasst habe (ich hatte es nicht so geplaneted)“. Ich liebe das Wortspiel zwischen den Wörtern Plan und Planet! Ich habe den Spruch an meinem Projekt angebracht und dann die Ränder um ihn herum mit einem schwarzen Stift abgedunkelt. Als letzte kleine Verschönerung habe ich einige Glossy Accents auf den Planetenringen und den kleinen Sternen angebracht.

Und das war das Projekt für heute! Allein der Anblick dieser kleinen Planeten macht mich glücklich! Sie sehen so süß aus! Unsere Geburtstags Challenge läuft bis Ende des Monats.
