You Make My Life Magical

Hello and happy Wednesday!
Today I have a magical card for you – but first, the list of products I used:

• “Magical Dragons” by My Favorite Things
• *Alternative Product* Cloudy day stencil by My Favorite Things
• Yarn
• *Alternative Product* Distress Inks
• Versafine Onyx Black Ink
• Clear Embossing Powder

For the background I used a cloud stencil along with my colourful inks, for some interest I also splatters water on top of the ink.

Next, I stamped one of the dragon images from the “Magical Dragons” stamp set and used my alcohol markers to color the image. As always, I used my stamp positioner to stamp the image again with Versafine Onyx Black Ink in order to clear heat emboss.

I then wrapped some yarn around the background panel and taped it down in the back. Instead of glueing down the dragon image onto the panel itself I actually added the dragon to some yarn so the image appears to be floating.

As final step I stamped one of the matching sentiments, it was quite a quick card this time.

Hallo und happy Wednesday!
Heute habe ich eine magische Karte für Euch – hier aber erst einmal die Übersicht der verwendeten Produkte:

• “Magical Dragons” von My Favorite Things
• *Ersatzprodukt* Cloudy day Schablone von My Favorite Things
• Garn/Bänder
• *Ersatzprodukt* Distress Inks
• Versafine Onyx Black Ink
• Klares Embossingpulver

Beim Hintergrund habe ich eine Wolkenschablone und – wie immer – meine bunten Inks verwendet, ich habe außerdem ein paar Wassertropfen auf dem gewischten Hintergrund verteilt um den “Tropfeneffekt” zu haben.

Als nächstes habe ich eines der Drachenmotive aus dem Stempelset “Magical Dragons” verwendet und dieses mit meinen Alkoholmarkern coloriert. Wie immer habe ich das Motiv dann wieder in meine Stempelhilfe getan, ich habe den Drachen mit Versafine Onyx Black Ink gestempelt und anschließend klares Embossingpulver verwendet.

Danach habe ich schwarz/weißes Garn mehrmals um den Kartenaufleger gewickelt und auf der Rückseite mit Tape fixiert. Den Drachen habe ich übrigens auch auf einem Stück Garn angebracht, so dass dieser “schwebt” aber nicht auf der Karte aufgeklebt ist.

Zuletzt habe ich noch einen der passenden Sprüche aus dem Stempelset gestempelt und fertig ist die Karte.
